Major Snafu
Chun Li and Ryu - the latter at Ken's assistance - are working together on the missing students case.
This is Chun Li's first assignment as the ICPO's liason to the Tokyo police. Both fighters are working as trainee teachers at Taiyo High School - Chun Li in Literature and Ryu (surprizingly) in Japanese History (ant not in his gi and headband, but in a suit which Ken has bought him).
(Who'd have thunk that Ryu had a natural knack for Asian history?)
At Taiyo Gauken, where the pair are assigned, they become well-known. however, their investigation gains the attention of Justice Gauken's student president, the katana-wielding Hyo Imawano.
First, he sends the school's kendo club after them. They failed. He then sends in Ryu's brainwashed student, Sakura Kasugano as well as Natsu and Hinata. Ryu and Chun Li succeed in freeing the three girls, who tell them that Justice High is behind the kidnappings.
Hyo, having no other choice, sends in Hideo Shimazu and Kyoko Minazuki in an attempt to stop the formidable duo...as well as an attempt to brainwash them once they are defeated.
However, Ryu and Chun Li are given the heads-up and are waiting for their challengers, each dressed in their respective fighting attire as they arrive at the school.
To make things interesting, Ryu quips to Chun Li that whoever KO's their opponent last has to buy dinner. Chun Li accepts the challenge.
