No god powers for Cable, but he has access to his future tech.

Orion grinds him into dust

Future tech stuff? The hell? The New Gods are the actual friggin GODS of Technology. Orion's toaster is more advanced than Cable's entire arsenal all put together.

He needs those God powers before he even THINKS about trying to do anything to Orion other than shine his shoes. With the god powers, Cable loses 10/10. Without the God power, Orion would do the mathematically impossible task of making Cable lose 11/10.
