against The Saviour Dane is best suited with a strategic retreat to the Wildstorm universe.

against current Cable they throw feints for six seconds untill Cable rips the symbiote out with Molecular Gravitational control.

Well he didn't part the sky.....he moved all the clouds out of the sky so the sun could come through and kill a host of Vampires. I'll find the scan.

He can use his TP and TK to do a variety of things.

You bring up Dane blowing a hole in a building and moving clouds as what, evidence of great power? Are you aware of Cable's abilities, or practically any tk user in Marvel?

It wasn't really a cloud but rather a barrier of darkness that covered the whole planet for a few years and allowed the night tribe to rule over Earth.. None of Wildstorm powerhouse was able to cracked it; like say Majestic for instant.. So for Dane and Grail to rip it open is quite an impressive feat..
