I agree, the guy is a beast and had to be reduced to 50% of his power in order for any of them to stand a chance. I give him like 8/10 against black adam. The guy is a damn powerhouse.

Exactly. I'd love to know why pretty much everybody before me gave BA a landslide victory

This Hyperion doesn't have that many high-end feats, it's not like he beat the 616 versions of those characters. Whereas BA has taken on much more powerful foes.

However in the Supreme-verse where the team consisting of Arcanna, Shape, Emil Burbank and Nuke are sent to apprehend Hyperion Nuke traps him in a sphere of energy which Burbank describes of having the pressure of a star collapsing in on itself (iirc). Which hints at his massive durability (although flying into a mountain top seems to stop him which isn't too impressive)

Punched sue force bubble and the first blow almost knocked her out ending with her saying that she never felt power like that before even though she has faced hulk along with other power houses. Knocking down a titanium door just by touching it.

That's not many feats, it basically all happened in one fight (which isn't that impressive as it's against the lesser experienced/less powerful Ultimate counterparts)

Hyperion was later felled by lighting and then owned (in turn) by Thor.

Of course he was surprised at feeling pain, there hadn't been a being who could hurt him until Dr Spectrum appeared.

No weakness? Emil Burbank engineered one for him, that was a large part of the Ultimate Power story.

You do know that he was at 50% of his power when this happened right.



From reeds own mouth jonny power is still supernova, hell even jonny said it when he was blasting hyperion.

Not really, that was the whole point. In the Supreme-verse Hyperion is the most powerful being (so far) to have no weaknesses would make his character pointless. He was such a "powerhouse" that he couldn't be stopped any other way.

Most if not all major characters have some sort of weakness.

I've no doubt BA could do the same, nothing I've seen from Hyperion suggest he's stronger than Black Adam.

By the way, the comet that hit Jupiter was estimated to hit with the force of 6 teratons. And we all know that left a mark. Just to put things in perspective...

But I guess you're right. Big numbers may have clouded my judgment. Although I'm not quite ready to put Black Adam on Hyperion's or Superman's level of strength just yet... I suppose he could bring this level of destruction to bear.

That was the bomb set off in the army base to take out Hyperion. And the person who is saying "did it work?" is the president asking if the bomb killed him (it didn't but it f*cked him up and he may have died from his injuries if Zarda hadn't healed him)

Don't bring more "proof" here until you read Supreme Power, thanks.

He's taken on the entire JSA more than once, and they are far more powerful than Ultimate Thor and the Ultimate FF4 (who are weaker versions of the 616 characters)

Damn, my bad, I have read some of his book and just recently started reading more of it, I thought that was his heat vision, My bad but thanks for the correction.
