darkseid is written by jack kirby,thanos is written by jim starlin.
under kirby darkseid was pretty badass,but under starlin thanos could attain virtually anything imo.
how would this go down

nope non jobbing darkseid is not under thanos he never has been, he even admits he fluctuates in power level so he's not always at full power as shown in hunter pray, beside that alot of his failures have been retconed as avatars.

This has been done alot. And short of something like the IG, Thanos will always lose.

Darkseid under Kirby wasn't the above the top tier brick he is nowadays.

His OE was more formidable, but he didn't do direct confrontations.

Thanos would win in a physical match, but likely be teleported away.
Course, he could come back, but a bfr is a loss on kmc.

yeah thanos only beat up WW superman and i uno who while he was jobberside didnt he. Im so sure that thanos has fought anyone that strong

Darkseid is ungodly powerful. Without an enormous upgrade in power, Thanos will lose every time. You may not need to go as far as the IG, but you do need to get something around Odin level in power at least.

Uni, shut up. Darkseid beat the living daylights out of Supes in a fistfight several times, pre and post crisis.
