Quasar can absorb any form of energy if I'm not mistaken,

with the exception of the Infinity Gems.

This is true, however when people tried to absorb his body, Superman Blue learned how to reverse the process and f*ck up the other guy.

This is a good match imo. Both are versatile as hell.

Not necessarily. I read Quasar back in the day too, and he had plenty of unsure and unexperienced moments.

Blue did as well....at the beginning. He and Red were pulling off some insane sh*t by the end of that arc though.

I see this as a much better fight than S blue vs SS though...since Quasar can control more types of energy as can Superman.

Elvis takes this: he can protect himself from just about anything projectd @ him by Supes-B, and he can absorb just about everything thrown @ him by Supes-B.
