Who do you like more as an cinema hero? What movies from them do you like more? Who is the best character? Indy or Bond?

I really like the Indiana Jones movies a lot but I love the james bond movies the most and am a HUGE JAMES BOND fan.so I think Bond is the best character although I really like Indiana Jones a lot also.

how can you compare those two?

indiana jones is thr best hero ever, no contest. all he has is a six shooter and a whip. bond has a hundreds of little gadgets.

I was about to get a kicking once off a niteclub doorman and to stall him I asked him who was cooler, James Bond or Indiana Jones. He thought for about 10 seconds then said "Indy!" I agreed with him and we had a 10 min discussion about Raiders. Thankfully the dimwitted chappie forgot about my kicking.

but at least in Bond and Jones the maincharacters (namely, bond and jones) don't go around prancing about their looks
luckily their movie isn't purely about looks of one girl

Indy is more adventurous so he wins!

Bond cause he has all the cool stuff...alothough Indy is great too

best films in both these series are "The last Crusade" for Indy, and "The Spy Who Loved Me" for Bond

She doesnt go around pracing her looks Unlike the Bond girls.
And at least the characters dont have cheesy names like in Bond

oh come on kes, from time to time, some shots are just purely about her looks, the only thing missing is zooming in on her breasts

I agree with you and that other guy who liked The Last Crusade the best.I loved raiders and the last crusade but I didnt care for the 2nd film the temple of doom.

I don't actually have any real interest in this thread, but I've just realised that {with the exception of closed and very recent threads} this is the only thread within the entire James Bond forum for which yerssot doesn't have the last word {I thought that I'd bumped all such threads at Christmas, but evidently missed this one since it was at the top of the last page}. As a completist, that just feel wrong to me! So go ahead yerss! Finish in stlye!

god that's a hard one, I can say that I like James Bond better, but if someone like asks me "if you'd have to watch one series of movies for all the eternity, which one would it be?" I'd say Indiana Jones

Sadly, Harrison isn't making great movies these days. The last one I saw him in, "Hollywood Homicide", was abysmal. Hands down, worst movie I've EVER seen. And I've seen quite a few ...
