Definetely cant argue with Empire Strikes Back since that is my favorite movie of all time.

Death Proof

Fight Club does indeed come to mind! Specifically the scene where Tyler Durden lets himself get pummeled by Lou. Also, the scene in The Dark Knight where Batman beats the shit out of the Joker and he just laughs is similar.
