Designer Vs Characters fight, LET IT BEGIN!

I think we're all a bit tired of the usual two (or more) guys in a warehouse and they face off Movie Vs fights, so here's something different that requires a bit of creativity:
1) Pick an actor
2) Pick three characters this actor has portrayed in film
3) Pick two(only two) powers, abilities, feats, gear or skills to add to your fighters roster. ie if you pick Christopher Reeves and Superman as one character, you don't get all of Superman's abilities, pick invulnerability and flight or super-speed and heatray eyes etc.
4) All abilities, powers skills, gear or feats MUST be useful, ie Achilles' sexy looks doesn't count unless it can effectively turn the fight.
5) All weakness are taken, for all three characters. Similar ones stack, if applicable.
6) You get more "cool points" by being creative and making the opponent not easily "stomp" the opposition. ie the more equal in overall power your character is while still being able to pull a win is best.
7) Fights take place in a large abandoned military base, imagine lots of open spaces and large buidlings close to each other. You can change it to what you like, if need be, use descretion.
I'll start, try and make a character that can just barely best mine (or a following posters).
Patrick Stewart:
Xavier (Xmen)- Mutant mind control abilities(would not include mind-raping etc by default) and wheelchair.
Jean Luc Picard (Star Trek)- Phaser and tactical prowess.
Gurney Halleck (Dune) - Fighting skills and personal energy shield.
Of Note, Xavier's cripple status would be a weakness I take with me.
Placidity
Ian McKellen
1. Magneto (X-men) - Magnetism Manipulation and Helmet
2. Gandalf the White (LotR) - Magic
3. Death (Last Action Hero) - Immortality and uh, killing people.

Gandalf needs to have two elements and "magic" as an all encompassing power isn't allowed, pick a magic power he used.
Having Death makes it a clear stomp against my character(see: Rule 6), so you win but get zero cool points

Well cmon, you put in Xavier... how is anyone meant to top that without going to extremely powerful characters..

Creativity, sir.
Xavier had only the mind control aspect, not his "I destroy all with a thought." Your use of Magneto with helm (was a great move BTW) already countered my guys best ability, so Death was clear overkill. Should have used Richard III and taken his gun and evil cunning.

Ok, I've never seen that film, but I'll go with that suggestion.
Ian McKellen
1. Magneto (X-men) - Magnetism Manipulation and Helmet
2. Gandalf the White (LotR) - Summon Lightning and Shooting Fireworks in people's eye.
3. Richard III - his gun(lol) and evil cunning.

Christopher Lee
1. Darth Tyranus (Star Wars) - Force Lightning and Lightsaber
2. Saurumon (LOTR) - Telekenesis and Magic Staff
3. Fransisco Scaramanga (The Man With the Golden Gun) - Insane Gun Accuracy and Golden Gun

1)Pick a specific Force ability. Lightsabre skills and a lightsabre are two separate items, either or, not both unless you drop the Force power.
2) Pick a specific magical power and you need one more other marketable skill, feat, power, item etc. from that character.
3) Need two, I suggest the gun, if you choose gun skills as the first.
BTW, he can most likely kill you at long range with Magneto's powers if you pick a metal item, sabre or gun. Keep that in mind.

Force Abilities seems too wide to me.
Should probably be broken down to:
- "Seeing things before they happen"/ Fast Reflexes
- Force Telekinesis (including Push, Pull, Choke and Super Leaps)
- Force Lightning
Darth Martin
Hugo Weaving
1. Megatron (Transformers) - Flight and Transformer-like abilities
2. Agent Smith (The Matrix Trilogy) - Bullettime Stats and Cloning
3. V (V For Vendetta) - Intelligence and Speed

If that's in response to Placidity's Magneto-Gandalf-Richard III character, your guys goes down quickly, for obvious reasons.
If it's to my Xavier-Picard-Gurney, he goes down via mind control and phaser fire.
Darth Martin
Just listing things tht spring to mind. Don't really care about competing with either of you at the moment.

To challenge your choices, sir, Hugh Jackman:
Wolverine (X-Men): Healing Factor and Mental Resistance. If his resistance wasn't shown in the movies, then Enhanced Reflexes.
Van Helsing (Van Helsing): Rapid-Fire Crossbow, Lycanthrope transformation
Robert Angier (The Prestige): Illusions, Tesla Clones
This is something of a test to see if I understand the rules and workings as well. I don't really expect this to be a win.

Not bad, I had the first two in mind. I probably would have went with....
- Healing Factor and Adamantium Claws
- Van Helsing - Skills and Lycanthrope Transformation
- Robert Angier (Clever third choice btw) - Tesla's Machine and skills
While a pretty cool combination, I don't think it could overcome Xavier's mind control. Wolvie does have telepathic resistance, but I don't think anyone would dare speculate that it is at Xavier's level.
XanatosForever
Yeah, really the only obstacle I saw was Professor X. I know that comic Wolvie's got psychic scar tissue up the whazoo that makes him practically immune to telepathy, but I wasn't sure how much of that had carried over to the movies.
As for Van Helsing, he was pretty much the very next choice that popped into my head, and if I had really thought about it (not going to make changes now) I should have let him have Lycan form and healing factor, since they are technically two seperate abilities.
As for Angier, I'll admit while I had thought about it already, he was also something of an afterthought, as I wasn't sure what other movies of Hugh's I could utilize, but his unique abilities with sleight of hand and illusions, as well as the potential from the Tesla theories, made him what I though to be a viable choice.
Sadako of Girth
Bruce Willis
John McClane for phenomenal Endurance, and luck.
David Dunn (Unbreakable dude).... Hes super, b*tches, and he seems to be nearly as invulnerable as McClane.
And Dr. Malcolm Crowe, the dead dude from Sixth Sense. The ability to not be seen by the most of the living sometimes would be an advantage defensively and offensively.
You're just shaking your self dry at the urinal, then BAM!
Willis snaps your neck suddenly and re-disappears..!
You're passing the gravy over to your nan as shes round on Boxing day.... BAM!!!!!!!
Willis materialises, pumps both you and your grandmother full of lead and disappears to safety again.
The possibilities are endless.
Darth Martin
Ray Park
1. Darth Maul- Double-Bladed Lightsaber and Force Push/Pull
2. Snake-Eyes- Strength and Guns
3. Toad- Tongue and Agility
Kaibs
Jet Li
1. Yu-Law (The One) - Combined serlves from the multiverses, Super speed
2. Nameless (Hero) - Master swordsmanship, Death at Ten Paces
3. Emporer Han (The Mummy 3) - Elemental Control, Shapeshifting

You followed the rules perfectly.
Wolverine's mind resistance wasn't really shown. But the illusions could potentially gimp Xavier's mind control, can't say for sure. Not a bad combo really, as you have an A-level healing factor and a great speed, agility and durability combo. Plus a potential army of clones, all casting illusions for further confusion.
This would be a good one versus the Magneto-Gandalf-Richard III or the Yu Law-Nameless-Emperor Han.
Kaibs
Thanks. I put alot of thought into the Jet Li one. Becuase all three that I named are epic badasses. And we didnt even get to see his true potential in Hero or in The One.

If he had chosen 'Adamantium in lieu of 'super reflexes', I think he could potentially beat you.
As he would be almost physically indestructible and could have an army of 100+ attacking your single guy; they could be a combo of the humans with rapid crossbows and illusions skills and werewolves. It'd be swarm, not sure if your super-speed could keep track of everything without getting tagged here and there.

Christian Bale
1. Batman/Bruce Wayne: Genius level intellect and near peak human fighting abilities
2. Cleric John Preston: Trained in Gun Kata forms and other assassination techniques

Conner must have two specific items from the movie, if you're going with just 'items'. I think I have a combo that can just beat you in mind.
Very good non super-powered combo though, I like.
Kaibs
I'm not sure that Christan's character would quite beat the ones I set for Li, but encase it did somehow happen ill follow up with...
Liam Neeson
1. Aslan (Chronicles of Narnia) - Divine Power, infinite wisdom
2. Qui-Gon Jinn - Lightsaber Skills and Lightsaber
3. Ra's al Ghul - Lazeralus Pits and Hand to hand combat
(if Divine power isnt good enough I can go more into detail)
Robtard
He wouldn't, he's a bad-ass non super-powered guy.
It would have to be a specific Divine Power, eg Lighting bolts, healing the sick, water into wine etc. (not that Azlan showed these on film)
Also of note, if you're going to pick Azlan, it'd be fair to gimp yourself to a lion's body, so that sabre might be tricky to wield. Does the lion have a prehensible tail?
Kaibs
Yes true, but Aslan did show that Posedian he summoned at the end of Caspian. I'd say that shows he has crazy ass power ja? And I didnt think Bale would of beaten Li. So then is my other entry therefore nulled until Li loses?
*edit* also if i took away his lightsaber powers and made him a lion umm you really think a aslan with the force is weaker than aslan with the lightsaberA? thats realy debatable.
XanatosForever
This is an awesome thread, Rob, thanks for making it.
Let's see, for my next set, let's go with...Will Smith
John Hancock (Hancock): Super Strength, Invulnerability
Detective Del Spooner (I, Robot): Cybernetic Arm, Assault Rifle (Not sure what model he was using in the movie)
Agent J (Men in Black): Neuralizer, Cannon from the end of MIB 1
I'm not sure which of the current sets would be a good match for these three, but if someone cares to make a challenge set, feel free.
Kaibs
For the record he used a M4 I believ ein the movie. I will get back to you on that though as I might be wrong.

Then you could Pick 'ability to Summon water god', which would be epic and you might completely stomp your opposition instead of just beating them.
Na, you can keep making all you like, hopefully people will come with a counter. That rule doesn't really matter, if the thread just goes that way.
You'd have to pick one specific force power Gin used, eg force push and no, a giant lion with a force power could be good, really depends on the opponent you're facing and their combined abilities.
Kaibs
In follow up to his Will Smith. Which was a pretty good one I might add.
I give you.
Keanu Reeves
1. Neo - Telekenisis and Flight
2. John Constantine - His holy gun and Dragonsbreath Flamethrower
3. Klaatu - Can I get Gort? Gort is like a Jedi's Lightsaber to a Jedi right? Haha... and Healing power.

Charlize Theron:
Mary Embrey (Hancock) - Flight, invulnerability
Eon Flux (Eon Flux)- Gun, super-agility
Jill Young (Mighty Joe Young) Giant gorilla, ability to order said gorilla around.
Of note, your Hancock would carry his weakness to 'white women'. Embrey would be affected by Hancock just the same. So we'd both be losing specific those power-sets, slowly.
Edit: The gorilla wouldn't count as an "item". Let me change to another character.
XanatosForever
I wouldn't call GORT a part of Klaatu's arsenal, to be honest, especially in the remake. GORT was kind of its own entity. Not trying to shoot down your set or anything.
Kaibs
If his Jill gets the gorilla I should get GORT lol.

Clever, Rob. I think a wildcard is the Neuralizer, though. There can be a surprising amount of comabt potential for it. Also, not to be nitpicky, but wasn't her name Aeon, not Eon?

If that's the case, then Will gets dropped hard. Hancock may be invulnerable, but I don't know if he can handle a planet buster like GORT.

So you'd lose invul and strength, I'd lose flight and invul, in time.
Yeah, it would be a hard to beat. But you don't have your sunglasses, so it would affect you too. So I'm relying on my Aeon-agility to avoid your gun and shoot you first.

Haha whatever. He used Hancocks Invurnablility. That should be of equal not coolness.

Alright, here's a fun one: Bruce Campbell
Ashley J. Williams (Evil Dead): Boomstick, Chainsaw arm attachment
Coach Boomer (Sky High): Sonic scream, Coaching skills (XD He's got nothing else)
Dr. Ivan Hood (Alien Apocalypse): Alien blaster, Astronaut skills (Not sure what else he's got, either XP)

Ahhhh I see. Sorry mate. Getting the hang of this here genius bit of threadery.
Crowe: Powers of blinking in and out of the world of the living.
(Essentially ability to become totally invisible and walk through walls)
Familiar with the minds of the disturbed, a master of psychology.
Dunn: Feats of surviving massive physical trauma without injury,
Enhanced strength

Figured I could track you while you're a ghost, blast your apparition ass until you went back to human and then try a combo of chainsaw, golf club and dynamite to get though Dunn's durability.
The only counter I have to McClane's luck is Phil's do-overs, but that might not be enough.

He's have great skill with many weapons, but only his fist in this. I'd pick Hick's battle rifle as his second.
This would be a good match for the Bale one above.
Though if Biehn used Kyle's his time-travel to go back in time to kill Sarah thereby negating Bale's Conner aspect, he'd run into the Kyle that was protection Sarah, might be some weird universe destroying paradox here. Good job.
