Decepticons versus the Death Star...

Rogue Jedi
Two scenarios....
1: Starscream is flying around space and is sucked into a black hole. He emerges in the Star Wars universe, the Death Star in sight. As Starscream gets his bearings, he is swarmed by 4 TIE fighters. He takes them out easily, then sees more coming from the Death Star.
Pissed, he decides to take the Death Star out. The Death Star from ANH, BTW, and the number of TIE's is the same as in ROTJ, more or less, they are everywhere. No Star Destroyers.
2: Same as scenario one, but also throw Megatron into the mix.
Also, in both scenarios, Vader is in the mix, in his personal TIE fighter.

I see Starscream going down quickly. Even if i'm ignoring how fragile the Transformers were in the movies i don't think it will take more than a few well placed shots to destroy Starscream. Starscream is very agile but several squadrons of Tie's...,that's just to much.
I think scenario 2 will have the same end, especially with Vadar.
Robtard
I'd agree with Janx, but taking into account the sheer ineptness of the Empire, the Deceps have a chance. If some dirt-farmer can destroy a moon-sized planet buster with one shot, well, a hi-tech robot should too.
BruceSkywalker
the decepticons have a chance but I agree with this post...

I think I've already said that about 25("a decent number"

F-22 Raptors would ruin Megatron or Starscream, possibly both, so I don't think the Empire can lose here. Also remember that Starscream has a distinct advantage when combating F-22's: he looks identical to them. That isn't the case here.
Rogue Jedi
Wait, cant SS simply transform into a TIE?
Bloinky
Yeah, your forgetting the fact that TF's can scan a transportation and then transform into it.
KingD19
Only Bumblebee has shown the ability to change his form more than once, and it really can't even be counted, since it was the same car, just a different year.
I'm pretty sure that once a TF gets his terrestrial form, he's stuck with it, unless he undergoes some surgery to get back to his protoform.
Rogue Jedi
That theory is a bit out there, bro.
KingD19
How is it far out? They were in their protoforms when they hit Earth, they scanned a vehicle, and that was it, don't you think if they saw a more suitable form, they would take it??
Actually, I retract my statement, I just remembered that Skids and Tracks switched forms from an Ice Cream truck to those weird little mini cars. However, I doubt Starscream would do that in the middle of a battle, and SW tech is definitely high enough to pick out an intruder in the group. Plus, how ugly would he be when he transformed?

Even if they transform into a tie, how would that help them? They'd be surrounded by countless other ties.
Unless if they can transform into the Death Star itself...
KingD19
Nope, Micheal Bay didn't want any size altering TF's, so no Death Star sized Starscreams, etc.....
And Vader wasn't even there for most of the kills over the DS.
Rogue Jedi
Indeed, he took out a few, that's it.
