David becomes a stepfather to another family and he's gonna regret targeting this family because one of the kids has a Good Guy Doll that turns out to be the infamous, psychopathic doll, Chucky and the little guy doesn't like having someone else going after his targets.
At one night, David goes in the kitchen to grab some knives to use to kill his latest victims but Chucky does a surprise attack out of one of the cupboards. He latches onto David and gives him a good bite in the neck and David throws him off and what a coincidence, Chucky crashes right into the breaker box and the entire house goes dark. Backup power comes on but the lights are a bit dim.
