DMX and Jet Li in a heated action movie that looks like it will actually pack in the punches...definately a cool teaming that looks like it should be pretty exciting to watch judging from the trailer. The music also should make a nice addition. Plotwise....hmm - i think there is one, but i remember the action from the trailer better. Guess who else is in it - Gabrielle Union - is there ANY movie she isnt in?

Hmm....well, Gabrielle Union has been in nearly every teen movie ever made (Bring it on, She's all that) and now is the star of "Deliver Us From Eva" and then there is Cradle 2 the Grave...and then Bad Boys 2...plus 2 can play that game....sounds like a lot to me!

I think any movie featuring a musical artist in it sucks. They should stick to the music and stay out of the movie business. Look at some of these stupid movies for example....Crossroads, Angel Eyes, A Walk to Remember, 8 Mile, Barbershop. My God, how much more do they want us to suffer?

Well, avoid what you wish...but let's not completely neg every movie with a musical artist in it. I agree some or even many may not be the highest quality....but there are exceptions and some artists deserve a chance. For every Madonna and Britney Spears, there is a Will Smith (and i am not referring to Wild Wild West of MIB) who gave a great performance in Ali last year. I am not suggesting DMX is headed toward an Academy Award performance in Cradle2theGrave, but it may just be fun!

You are focusing on a lot of negatives...I will throw a few positives your way, just for consideration:

Jennifer Lopez in Out of Sight (and she gave a good performance in Selena too)
Eminem in 8 Mile (i know you put it down already but i happened to think it was pretty good and know many who agree)
Ice Cube (in Boys N the Hood and Three Kings)
Courtney Love in The People vs Larry Flynt

I will agree with you on Three Kings. That was actually a very good movie, but I'm not giving credit to Ice Cube because he had 2 other very talented actors beside him. All of them working together made it a good movie.

Courtney Love is a big whore and the only reason she did well in that movie is because she was being herself. (BTW. she killed Kurt)

J-Lo and Eminem....please stick to music.

eh. I dunno. I love action movies but I'm going to hold out for Tears of the Sun this weekend instead of going to see Cradle. Cradle looks like a renter to me.

8 mile was good...eminem acted well!
