SHIELD has recently become aware of the existence of vampires and recognize them to be a threat. They are also aware that there are different groups and even species of Vampires. As a starting step, Nick Fury has asked for your expertise in classifying each group or species according to threat levels so they can assess the situation.
Threat or power levels is determined based on physical stats, skills, intelligence and other powers. Levels should not necessarily be ranked in terms of which vampires would win in a duel. Weapons and Equipment should not be included in the assessment.
Rank each individual in descending order of power:
* Selene (Immortal Hybrid)
* Blade
* Dracula (Van Helsing)
* Edward Cullen
* Alice Cullen
* Dracula (Batman vs Dracula)
* Deacon Frost
* Marcus Corvinus (Hybrid)
* Nina Harker (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)
And if allowed:
* Elijah (Vampire Diaries Original)
* Eric Northman (True Blood)
* Other Prominent Vampires not on the list.
I think most people aren't familiar with Batman's Dracula, so here is a short clip:

No takers? Still in Avengers Craze mode I guess. I should go first (before this thread fades lol).
Anyway, I would probably rank immortality (without glaring weaknesses like a stake) or high invulnerability as the most dangerous attribute because it means it will be very hard or impossible to put them down. Ease of incapacitation should factor in afterwards.
So in this first group, which don't have obvious weakness like being staked, silver etc. I would then consider physical stats and powers.
* Elijah (Vampire Diaries Original)
* Selene (Immortal Hybrid)
* Dracula (Van Helsing)
* Edward Cullen
* Alice Cullen
* Marcus Corvinus (Hybrid)
1. Alice Cullen - Her foresight could have so much potential I had to list her as first. Even though she can be killed, its very hard to catch her let alone put her down and she probably has the greatest physical stats next to Edward. Also, no weaknesses.
2. Elijah - While not as strong as the others, he is arguably faster than most and a day-walker. However what earns him a spot at number 2 is the fact that he is a true immortal (save for some witchcraft that only a few people know about) and can compel people at will. Not only that, he can create an army of vampires that will obey him if he so chooses. If left unchecked someone with his powers could take over the world without much problems. I'm actually having a hard time deciding whether him or Alice should take the top spot.
3. Dracula (Van Helsing) - Pretty decent stats, very fast, and most importantly another true immortal.
4. Edward Cullen - basically the same as Alice, but mind reading doesn't have as big a potential. He is basically here for his stats.
5. Selene - All round good stats and skills, No real special abilities, but also a day-walker.
6. Marcus Corvinus - Naturally trails behind Selene since she has beaten him, and he doesn't have any other useful abilities.
I believe all of the remaining can be staked, but I am not certain.
* Blade
* Dracula (Batman vs Dracula)
* Deacon Frost
* Nina Harker (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)
* Eric Northman (True Blood)
7. Eric Northman - if not for the fact that even old vampires can be killed by humans (Sophie-Ann), he would rank much higher. But the fact that a single mistake with a staking or wooden bullet means he explodes puts him further down here. The silver weakness isn't helping either. Excellent stats though except for the durability, also glamouring, but most unique is his superspeed flight.
8. Deacon Frost - I would say similar stats with Blade, but with an absolutely insane healing factor and teleporting speeds. Can this guy even be killed by staking? If not he should be higher on the list.

9. Blade - not much to say, solid stats, very skilled, but nothing to make him a serious threat.
10. Nina Harker - No real stats to speak off, decent healing factor, and can go into bat-form and likely a few other tricks, but there just aren't enough feats.
11. Dracula (Batman) - I'm actually undecided on him, so I'm list him here.

Akasha (QotD) deserves to be somewhere near the top of the list.
There's also Dracula from Dracula 2000 and Ascension.
bbl, when i have more time
juggerman
Nomac from Blade 2 would be near the top
lilshogun
I would add Bram Stroker's Dracula, Deacon Frost with the La Magra vampire god. Lestat having the powers of the ancient vampires. But the most powerfulest Vampire I would say would be ALUCARD.

Does D count since he had an animated movie?
marwash22
Vampire Jerry from the new Fright Night was pretty badass.
KingD19
Eddie Murphy was pretty badass too.

She can make any vampires explode into a ball of fire with a thought, right?
I vote for her at the top.
marwash22
i think she had some kind of pyrokinesis.

Vampire Hunter D kills every vampire listed in this thread.
FinalAnswer
If we're including anime nonsense, Alucard from the Hellsing OVA > uhuh
marwash22
Arcueid from Type Moon >>>>> (infinity) Alucard.
Eva from Negima is a badass as well.
i don't think we should use anime/manga characters... the movie characters become largely irrelevant if we do.

Agreed. I was just saying. Ha ha.

I would really hesitate to agree with that view though because:
1. No real physical feats, we know she has flight, day-walking and we can infer she has decent speed.
2. Setting Vampires on fire:
- We must assume she can only set her progeny on fire, i.e not anyone else on the list since they all have different "originals" or origins.
- As SHIELD making the assessment, her abilities to set others from her own bloodline on fire doesn't really factor into your threat assessment.
Also, I see lots of people mentioning other vampires, I haven't seen many of those so put them in your own lists if you want...

Can't Elijah wield compulsion against the others, since they're technically not Originals?
NemeBro
Since for some weird reason people are using non-movie vampires: Mandrakk the Dark Monitor.
That's the sound of me winning the thread, with my multiversal blood-sucking swagger.

Angel and Spike from Buffy were boss with their wrinkley foreheads

True, but I'd say the ability to compel the others would make him the top dog.
