Who takes this

How could in anyone's right mind perceive the Genie not BFRing the opposing team?
Darkstorm Zero
Wouldn't the Mask simply toonforce his way through everyone else?
Impediment
Genie is nigh omnipotent. He turns the opposing team into the Human Centipede.
0mega Spawn
Yeah isn't genie the second oldest to SS but with godly reality warping powet?
Lestov16
What has Genie done that Doc, GL, or SS can't do?
Impediment
Alter reality and grant super powers.

Wow. Excellent points.
Impediment
Genie doesn't have to kill; he can incapacitate.
Lord Lucien
What does 'BFR' mean?
the ninjak
Battle Field Removal is an ability one would think the genie is capable of.
Especially if he can turn the opponents into sheep or cats or rocks.

So, Dr Manhattan has all the powers he displayed on screen? If so, can't he just turn everyone into blue dust?

How is he going to turn an incorporeal being like Doc into chocolate? What matter/reality warping has Genie done that Doc is incapable of?
And Hal tanked being next to the sun. Has Genie ever shown such durability?

Has the Doctor turned a monkey into a elephant? Has the Doctor transformed a human into a being as powerful as himself? Has the doctor made a boat sail through the air?
Genie survived being dismembered (in his weakened state) by Jafar. And Genie can transform himself into a sun.
To compete with Genie you need a high scale reality manipulator (Genie Jafar), and I'm sorry but neither Doctor Manhattan, GL or Silver Surfer come close to Genie. Especially not Genie at full power, in one instance while weakened he grows larger then the world and spins it on his index finger. As for Genies can't kill, sure they can't not directly, but Jafar showed that circumventing the rules really isn't a issue.
Lestov16
Transmuting a monkey into a elephant is merely a matter of rearranging subatomic particles, which Doc does with ease considering how he frequently synthesizes lithium. It's not something Doc can't do.
Doc gave Silk Spectre his retrocognition ability to look into her childhood, so he has shown that he can grant his power to others.
Making a boat fly is certainly not out of the realm of Doc's TK.
Doc is immune to dismemberment (hell, he's immune to disintegration)
Doc has walked on the surface of the sun, so not sure how that'll help Genie.
Doc could probably easily alter his shape to dwarf the planet. He can assume any size he wishes.
What else does Genie bring to the table?

But has the doctor done it? No he hasn't. Has the doctor transformed himself into various physical forms? No. Warped a gold fish into a whale? Nope. What the Genie has done, while fooling around sounds alot more powerful then making Lithium. But then again all I know about Lithium is that it's a chemical agent. And producing it, is imo nowhere near transforming humans and animals into various shapes. Hell Genie can turn the air to gold so...
So now Silk Spectre can blow up humans, and exist multiple places at once? Thought not, if he had transformed her into a version of himself, like Genie did to Jafar then you would have a point but Manhatten never showed to have that ability. Also iirc Silk Spectre lost that power as soon as she broke contact with Doctor Manhatten.
You misunderstand, Genie warped reality around the boat, making the boat look like it was sailing through water, while it was actually sailing through the air.
But is he also immune to transmutation? Nothing suggest that, as the doctor never showed the ability to transform a living being into something else (Monkey to Elephant, Mouse to human, Fish to whale etc.) Genie reconstructs himself from multiple forms constantly throughtout the movies and series.
You mentioned the GL resisting the Sun as being something special.
Probably, is nice. But Genie has actually done it. And that is the difference.
So you don't think that Genie altering his size to being greater then the earth and spin it on his index finger, shows a degree of reality control far beyond what Doctor Manhatten have portrayed as being within the scope of his abilities?
Edit: Also the day the Doctor can juggle around with planets and suns, let me know. On the previous page Genie is showed do it.

Manhattan destroys Genie's lamp.
stop it.
Impediment
Genie is being gimped beyond reason and unfairly.
Genie is the most powerful being here. He wouldn't let his lamp be exposed.
marwash22
he has no choice in the matter. He's tethered to the lamp. His bracelets are like shackles that keep him from straying too far from it...
You mean to tell me, Manhattan, a being of supreme intellect, will not pick up on this and destroy it? Not to mention Manhattan can see the future and think faster than Genie can.
c'mon. Genie dies.
Impediment
He's not tethered to the lamp 100%. He has been shown walking around with no lamp in sight.
marwash22
cartoon ignoring it's own rules.
Lestov16
Why is Genie the most powerful here? What has he done that Doc is unable to replicate?
Impediment
I've only seen the first Aladdin movie.
Is there a rule that Genie dies if his lamp is destroyed?

Doctor Manhattan can control matter and teleport, yes, but can't turn somebody into a powerful sorcerer, much less an all powerful genie that can grant wishes.
Lestov16
What wishes can Genie grant that Doc would be unable to produce? As far as being all powerful, he clearly isn't since he's bound by rules. IIRC he can't even resurrect the dead. Doc never has to worry about being stuck in a lamp or not killing.

Is there a rule that Genie dies if his lamp is destroyed? when Jafar becomes Genie, the real Genie tells Aladdin that the only way to kill a Genie who is still tethered to it's lamp is to destroy the lamp. Aladdin threw Jafars lamp into lava and Jafar died.

Explain how he'll be doing that to a non-corporeal being who has no true physical form

Sort of like what Jafar did to Genie in the second movie. Genie also is not dependent upon a physical form and can exist independent of himself.
marwash22
how goes the whore hunting business, Nem?
NemeBro
Not well, the brothels of Venice are long dried up of choice game. Luckily I can still go back to my boars for comfort.
Lestov16
Just because Jafar did it to Genie doesn't mean it will work on Manhattan. Genie is bound by rules. Doc isn't.

Genie even free (And thus, weaker) is far more powerful than Manhattan.
