Darth Sidious vs Yoda on a flat even fighting area to the death, who wins? Both have Lightsabers and all Force abilities, Clone Wars feats included.

If you read any of the EU material you would know this and also know that Dooku and Mace were equal in saber combat. I already backed my claim, he put Sidous on his ass, as well as Jango. Yoda was too small and did not have the reach to compete with taller opponents. Yoda uses Ataru which is a jumping form of combat to make up for his lack of size. That is how he fights. This isn't some typical fencing match. Yoda can close the distance and uses his agility, mobility and being a smaller target to his advantage.

Clownshoes, all you've done is prove how dumb you are... Think about it... If yoda's sized prevented him from beating bigger foes with longer reach.. HOW was he able to disarm the bigger.. stronger... longer reach Sids? That right there disproves your claim. Yoda, again was able to compete with Dooku JUST FINE and was getting the better of the fight according to Dooku who was tiring and decided to leave. Only that isn't true is it.. He lost to Mace... He lost the saber battle to Yoda.. he ws losing the force battle according to Lucas himself. So again, he has lost and almost lost another time if not for the environment

Yoda was just getting warmed-up when Dooku ran like a wuss. If the fight had continued much longer I'm certain Yoda would've triumphed. Anyway, I agree that this fight is a stalemate.

Of course he would've won... Dooku was tiring and knew he couldn't beat Yoda. The novel makes this clear AND it was a holding back Yoda who still had love for his old Padawan and only wanted to arrest him

after watching the fight again I have to say that they seem pretty even as far as abilities go. hard to say who'd win this one on even ground tbh

Yoda was clearly Dooku's superior, which is why Dooku created the distraction to flee. He knew his ass was toast once Yoda got into his stride. If you want to be technical, Dooku lost because he BFR'd himself, by fleeing like a coward.

As to Yoda VS Sidious... it's really hard to pick a side here, considering their fight in RotS and their encounters in the Clone Wars series were very even. Though the fact that Sidious initially tried to flee from Yoda (Yoda jumped in his way before he could get out the door), before finally manning up and fighting, suggests that he wasn't sure he could take him.

I don't recall Quan copyrighting a term that I have seen on this forum and other forums, used by other people. As to "clownshoes", I have seen one other guy use it. The guy who made the wood chipper thread, whatever his name is again. Can't recall if he or KuRuPT used it first though. But anyway, I highly doubt anyone on this forum was the very first person to ever use that line. What does it matter though? It's still funny and still true.

"Clown Shoes" been around for long time, Jason Mews used it in one of the Kevin Smith films and it wasn't new back then either.

"Concession accepted" has too; it's nothing new. Quan started using it here after I said it to him though.

AT which point did he win.. I never remember Yoda being killed or beaten. Odd, can you send me the copy of this other version you have.

Ummm the fight didn't continue after that point. Being that they were on uneven ground Yoda got sent flying and dropped all the way down to the floor. When did Sidious win after that point?

How do you figure he won? Looked like a draw to me. Are u claiming Sidious won because Yoda fell? That doesn't equal win. Yoda wasn't really hurt from the fall and had to get out of there before Sidious' troops arrived.It's not like he ran away because he didn't think he could beat him but because he didn't want to have to fight-off all the troops at the same time.

Those who are saying that Yoda lost to someone who not only tried to run away but had backup coming is one on the most hilarious things I have heard in a while.

If it wasn't for the environment the fight would have ended the same way it did with Mace and that is Sidious on the floor whining.

Sidious needed help then and needed help when facing Yoda. Actually when has Sidious beaten any of the top tier force users in a straight up battle without any assistance or distractions?

When he lost the high ground he didn't lose the fight... He lost the high ground... sent back a pod at the emperor.. got back into position and then engage Palps again... At which point Lucas says.. Palps appears doomed. So no, losing the high ground didn't cost him the fight. Yoda never lost... Sids did.. by your logic Yoda wins... thanks for playing

escaping is the cowardly villainous thing to do, it doesnt mean that he couldnt win the fight, just that he didnt want to fight. And for christ sake, he lost to Mace Windu ON PURPOSE this is clearly evident when it shows him feigning weakness to get Anakin to make a decision, its mighty convenient that he started acting like a ***** just seconds before Anakin entered the room dont you think? or have none of you ever heard of playing possum?
