In the spirit of Super Power Beat Downs newest episode I've brought the fight here: Who do you all think would win? Darth Maul (Movies and TCW) or regular suit Spider Man (Raimi Trilogy), Spidey has his natural secretion web shooters and Darth Maul has his double bladed lightsaber.

Spidey Should win. Sure Maul has the force but he hasn't really displayed anything that Spidey wouldn't be able to shake with SS. Also, Spidey gets a few good licks (or even 1) on Maul then he's toast.

Thing is spidey has spidey Sense and can attack from a distance if necessary, however if spidey gets close maul can use force choke.

I always wondered about Spidey vs. Jedi/sith.

I think Spidey wins this against this particular Sith for a slight majority, starts getting stomped out if he fights anyone higher up on the pecking order like mace,anakin,yoda etc.

Well yeah, cut comic Vader would stomp Parker out imo.

I dunno, a Force user has preog that is just as effective as Spider Sense so I think a Force use could cancel out the spidey sense. Plus Maul has his lightsaber and enhanced reflexes, the only area that Spider Man has an advantage is strength but if he can't hit Maul or gets hit by the lightsaber then its all over.

Though Spidey can't defend against telekinesis

Spidey is by no means as fast as telekinesis. Nor can he defend against it.

A guy who can dodge/deflect blaster bolts/dodge lightsaber strikes from a guy with comparable speed feats is too slow? Lol

I'd love to know how he's going to stop Maul from ragdolling him or snapping him in half with telekinesis

Yep he chokes Obi-Wan Kenobi and Bo-Katan in TCW. And he not only chokes but he paralyzes and levitates them.

But I am getting pretty tired of this attitude here that every Jedi/Sith has to display every basic Force ability we've ever seen to prove they can use it.

They do and its bullcrap if they dont. They go through training right? They learn different skills right? Some are better than others correct? If somebody can put forth a jedi/sith training manual that says they all can do this/learn this then what Vader can do doesent apply to Maul.

The point isn't whether or not they can do it it's about what's in character when they fight. We don't ignore their fights and start scripting based off potential abilities. Quit ignoring the facts.

heres the facts: Spider Man really has no defence for TK, Darth Maul is strong enough in the Force to kill Spider Man with it, if he can move a several ton starfighter with ease then he can crush Spideys trachea. Even if that wasn't the case, even if he can immobilize Spider Man with the Force then he can stab him in the face with his lightsaber.

As god as Spidey is, he dies here

if you read Bat In the Suns defence on the choice to have Spider Man win, they say that Maul could only Force crush at around 200lbs, thats why he wouldn't be able to crush Spider Mans body, but Clone Wars disproves three theory because he's seen easily moving a several ton starship which would put his TK in the multi ton range, easily enough force to kill Spidey

Give me an example. He didn't kill any of hondo's troops with tk.

this is stupid. There is no scenario where Spiderman wins. Force choke and saber throw.
