If you put Scofield(Prison Break) and the rest of the Fox River 8 into Shawshank, how would they fare? Could Scofield escape in less time than it took Andy Dufresne?

Hahahahaha. Andy was a banker in 1947. Mike was a supergenius structural engineer. If a banker from the time period can break out in 19 years a guy from decades in the future whose job is designing and picking apart structures, can do it in far less time. And with his friends even less than that. It probably wouldn't take more than a few months at most to get all of them out. And that would be based on them having to acquire materials and such and learning the who's who and what's where of the prison.

Mike is indeed smart enough to get them off his back with no problems. Of course he and his buds could just do some damage but that would cause suspicion he wouldn't want.

Someone elses backdoor, and probably an addendum to the plan to allow them to escape as well, which might add another few weeks or so, but nothing Mike's planning can't handle.
