Iron Man (in his last suit), War-Machine and Iron Heart are in Zion. 250.000 Sentinels are about to invade Zion. All 90+ (93?) armors are present and controlled by J.A.R.V.I.S. Besides Iron Man's armors, Tony has managed to get a hold of the Iron Monger armor and Vanko's/Hammers drones. They are also controlled by JARVIS.

Can they hold out and defeat all Sentinels, entering Zion as quick as the drilled holes allows them, or are they overrun? They get about 2 hours to prep for the incoming attack.

Tony would just hack the Matrix with his nanites and win that way.

How does that compare to the Deus Ex Machina collective intelligence controlling all Sentinels?

Because an A.I. overpowering and controlling the mind of a human genius is a greater feat than an A.I. controlling mindless robot drones it created in the first place.

Tony's A.I. is even more powerful.

Can someone remind me how many sentinels we're talking about? There was a LOT of them and I'm having trouble imagining 100 Ironmen being able to handle all of them.

Mind that they could be shot to shit by heavy machine guns and EMP's.

You really do need to prove your argument beyond a two word response here.

Now, as to the match, in a straight up fight, Tony and the iron legion, despite 1 -1 being able to each take down a sentinel with relative ease, (not to mention Tony can easily replicate EMP fields with his weapon systems if he so desired) I think eventually he can get overwhelmed by sheer numbers without EMP hax. He could even get overrun by the Sentinel's homing bombs.

That said, the nanite suit IS able to adapt and was able to duplicate an aparatus that could utilise the Infinity Stones, A tech that was previously only able to be made at the Nidavellir by Eitri.

The sentinels stomp. People are not realizing how many is 250,000. They would all get overwhelmed in a matter of minutes.
Plus Tony has no feats to suggest he can replicate emp fields (which could theoretically render himself or members of his team null).

At best the Ironmen would take down close to 1000 sentinels IMO before succombing.

Remember there are about 100 Iron Man(ish) armors on the battlefield, not just Iron Man only.

If you've seen Matrix Revolution, the humans held out quite a bit with simple armors with heavy machine guns on it. Also because the Sentinels entrance was not big enough for all to instantly attack.

The humans didn't even kill 1000. Significantly less.

People just throw random numbers around without understanding their magnitude. I swear that if the OP said 1 billion then the outcome would be the same in people's mind. Hell, why not say infinite amount?

Who's saying they win? Im just playing advocate of the Devil. I do think they beat more than a thousand though, especially and armor like Bleeding Edge and Hulkbuster should do pretty well.

One EMP blast shut down the Sentinels.

1. Unfortunately IM has never displayed that he has emp blasts.
2. Theoretically, it would also shut down him and his team.
3. Emps does not have unlimited range and requires significant amount of energy for each pulse. IM doesn't have unlimited energy.

1. Alone dismisses the tactic.
2. And 3. are overkill
