Ferrari (2023)

"Set in the summer of 1957, with Enzo Ferrari's auto empire in crisis, the ex-racer turned entrepreneur pushes himself and his drivers to the edge as they launch into the Mille Miglia, a treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy."

Director - Michael Mann
Stars - Adam Driver, Shailene Woodley, Giuseppe Festinese

Caught this last weekend, Adam Driver did the same terrible "ah gabba goo!" Italian accent like he did in 'House of Gucci', but still rather enjoyed this. Good story, great cars, great race scenes and some absolutely brutal in-your-face crashes.

Back when auto racing was just a guy in a questionable car going very fast with zero safety equipment.

Hm, I know I've liked Machael Mann films in the past, but I'm not sure if I'm interested enough to actually watch this.

And like you said, it kind of just brings House of Gucci to my mind, heh... though I didn't hate it. I found Jarred Leto's performance highly entertaining, haha..

Leto was fantastic in House of Gucci.

I think it earned him a Razzi, or at least a nomination. Lol

Should have earned him best supporting actor ever.

Stephen King was probably behind that.
