Can Blade beat this version of Dracula?
NemeBro
In physicals they're actually fairly evenly matched, though Dracula certainly moves and flies faster than Blade can run. Blade also has his modern day arsenal of weapons and is certainly the better fighter.
Fact of the matter is though that Blade probably can't really put Dracula down, since he's immune to what kills Bladeverse vamps and has a pretty strong healing factor. Blade has some regen, but it's much weaker than Dracula's and a lot slower too. Blade gets outlasted in all likelihood.

Can Drac regrow another Head (if Blade cuts it off)?
Robtard
This is one of the most powerful film Draculas. Super-strength, speed so fast he appears to be teleporting, a healing factor that makes Wolverine's seem kinda slow, flight and a stupid "can only be killed by werewolf semen".
Blade loses here more times than wins.
Thinkerer
Blade doesn't carry Werewolf semen in his back pocket?
ShadowFyre
I don't see why that wouldn't be everyday carry for an average person.
ShadowFyre
I mean I don't always carry semen in my pocket but when I do it's from a mythological creature.

Just to point out Blood God Deacon Frost was also like this (mostly; it's been a while since I last watched it). Pre Blood God upgrade, he was already a bullet timer, and after he was able to reattach limbs and head after Blade sliced them all off.
He was also immune to garlic, silver sunlight etc.

But he was vulnerable to Blade's serum. Van Helsing Dracula isn't. Only werewolf venom from the VH verse.

Yeah, my point I guess is that La Magra's avatar never had any detailed weakness to EDTA either until Blade came along with his science (or rather, the hematologist did).
The whole point about becoming the avatar was that it made you immune to all known vampire weaknesses. EDTA wasn't one of them, that's all.
Thinkerer
It is therefore not that unlikely that the serum would work on this Dracula.
KingD19
Blade vampires are not the same type of vampire as Van Helsing. Dracula is not only on another level, he's mystical and has demonic properties. He was trapped in a castle so the devil gave him wings. That's not hyperbole, that's the literal reason he can turn into a bat creature. Blades serum wouldn't work on him just like werewolf venom wouldn't work on Blade vampires because werewolves don't even exist in the Bladeverse.

I am just saying that weaponry based on science/physics (even if shaky movie science, lol) would have an effect on magical resistance (and vice-versa), unless that magical resistance is specifically countering that weapon.
Just to remind ourselves of the amazing CGI:

Blade's serum failed against Nomak and the Reapers, as well as Drake, both of whom are far inferior to Dracula. You can't just assume that his serum will work when not only is it cross-universe, but Dracula has a specific lore related weakness that is so iron-clade that even a fallen angel(Van Helsing) can't overcome it. If it did have an effect, whatever that may be, Dracula would more than likely heal from it in a few seconds considering he ignored literally every other traditional vampire weakness, which all Blade vampires are susceptible to.

Nomak and the Reapers had that susceptibility to EDTA bred out of them, iirc.
Point taken on Drake (eurgh) though.
And that was the point of becoming La Magra's avatar, though - that Deacon Frost was now immune to all traditional vampire weaknesses once the ritual was complete.

Man, Norrington's direction and the crew's production design on Blade 1 are some of the best in action movie history.
Anyways, VH Dracula wins. Death-by-werewolf bite being his only weakness seals it.

last time I checked Blade isn't a Werewolf so even though he'd probably curb Dracula in a fight, because he can't kill him he would eventually lose

Do you believe Drac will regrow his head?

Depends on how fast for a forum knockout

Did they ever explain if Dracula was immune to sunlight? it has honestly been years since I watched, but I remember it being a very dark/cloudy film...
