Anakin didn't even demolish Barriss. I think it's inarguable that regardless of who'd better, it's a good fight.

That wasn't in ROTS, and that was hardly Anakin performing at his peak. ROTS Skywalker is only slightly below Dooku who can push Jedi Masters back with his lightning, casually TK them into his blade, kill multiple force sensitives with his lightning, TK people on Leneer's level with a finger.

All those feats were Force feats, which isn't something Anakin compares to Dooku in.

And Anakin and Barriss' fight wasn't that far off from RotS and he was decently pissed.

Doesn't compare? Dooku shit his pants at Anakin's Force Scream, Skywalker's not so far off that he 'doesn't compare. Decently pissed does not equal going all out. And if you don't think Dooku wouldn't absolutely cream Barriss in raw sabers I don't even know what to tell you.

Yeah, you're right. Anakin totally compares and that's why he casually ragdolled Barriss right at sta- oh no wait, he had to wear her down for 2 minutes, get disarmed, kicked off a building and get force pushed into a pillar first. His standard Force powers don't stack up to Dooku's. If Anakin was as good as you say he'd absolutely cream Barriss as well even without "going all out", which nothing suggests he wasn't. Yet he did not.

Leneer is not one of the best fighters in the era. She's a knight that had a good day against a Malgus who admitted that his weakness was exploited.

Plus Leneer did so well only because of her vendetta, something she's not going to have against Anakin. She ain't even a master. And yes technically neither was Anakin but it wasn't because his powers weren't Master level.

She was one of the best fighters of the era. Malgus was a top dog of the war, the most dangerous darksider Satele ever met and she met some good ones. He beat Darach, Adraas, Satele, Zallow and that badass Zabrak dude and headed the two most important missions of the War, the retaking of Korriban and the Sacking of Coruscant. He was easily Dark Council material and Aryn stalemated and tagged him with her saber more than once.

The same goes for Aryn. She put up a better fight than Master Zallow, who was mowing down the greatest Sith Warriors in the galaxy. To suggest she wasn't Master material is simply wrong.

Your concept of what makes one a master is a little off base. Leneer has speed and saber feats that could easily put her on the level of most Jedi Masters, which aren't even that impressive. And Anakin wasn't a master because he was in Palpatine's pocket and is as immature as a pre-teen, not because his powers weren't master level, which isn't even a thing by the way.

I'll say Anakin, albeit in a good fight.

Anakin on the otherhand consistently ranks in the top 5 duelists of his age.

I do agree that Leneer isn't on Anakin's level, but I'm not sure if that's the best way to go about it. Anakin's era is significantly smaller in terms of powerhouses.

This is true but when you have Windu and the narrative toting you as being on Yoda's level it makes it pretty clear that the likes of Leneer aren't in the same league.

At the time of the 1st Great War, she probably was. She was easily in someone like Satele's league. You think Anakin is stomping her too? Plus it's hardly her fault that the TOR era has an abundance of badasses and Force titans.

That still doesn't mean he's going to stomp her. That's ridiculous PT wank. I've backed up the idea many times that she's comparable to Maul, who would be a tough fight for Anakin. Based on her speed, strength, skill and TK feats so would she. Someone like her, who is superior to Zallow, the guy who was blitzing elite Sith Warriors, isn't going to be demolished easier than Barriss freaking Offee was.
