Maul takes all handily.

Grievous written as he was initially envisioned should rival Maul in sabers, though obviously loses once the Force becomes a factor.

That said, this is pre-prime Grievous, so he loses sabers in a spectacular duel.

I think Rebels Maul > TCW Maul, who is already a rival of Kenobi as a swordsman.

Nothing suggests that he grew as a swordsman.

Maul wins.

If he grew more powerful, he likely grew as a swordsman unless if there's reason to think he declined in other areas. He may have degraded physically, but that's of significantly less importance.

Maul, at least, isn't taking this handily.

As for the thread, Maul in all with difficulty.

As for Maul becoming a better swordsman in Rebels, he probably did. According to Kanan, Maul > Ahsoka, and we have his duel against the three Inqs and his duel against Ahsoka as references.

Neither of those things put him above TCW Maul.

Rebels Maul armed with a staff is at a disadvantage against a 4 saber-wielding opponent.

Against Legends Grievous/Grievous depicted as the animal he should be, Maul takes sabers in a difficult bout; his connection to the Force would see him further than Grievous' processors and cybernetics. He absolutely punishes Grievous with the Force and possibly uses him for spare parts with Mechu-deru in round 2, and then in round 3 I imagine he would dismiss Grievous like in SoD or just pummel him with TK.

Grevious takes this first round solidly - non tcw/non jobbing. The Force wielder wins the Force round. And Maul can only hope to BFR the second, otherwise he certainly is dying.
