Yoshi is the green dinosaur that is part of the Super Mario franchise. We all know that Yoshi's popularity almost surpasses that of Mario. Shouldn't Yoshi come out with a 3D game of his own?

What was the name of the Yoshi game where baby Mario was riding on his back and he was throwing eggs? I liked that Yoshi game so see no reason why he shouldn't get another game.

There were a couple of games in which Yoshi had Mario ride on his back. All of his previous games were 2D sidescrollers. He needs to have a 3D game.

Yoshi needs to be in Galaxy. Like he was in 64.

No, Yoshi's Island was a classic, Yoshi's Island DS was far too difficult by World 5, and I hate Yoshi's Story.

That seems like a personal problem. Overall, all of his games were fun with high replay value. None of his games were difficult, it just had some puzzles in them that made the player think.

All of World 5 had lifts with those stupid spikes, and they just went on and on. No platform should be that difficult, thus was the downfall of Mario Sunshine; Harder than suicide game, and one of the easiest boss's in gaming history.

Really? I found Sunshine to be a pretty average game difficulty wise, not hard, not easy.

Yeah, but Yoshi didn't like water in that game. I mean, COME ON! Every single stage was set on an island, beach, harbor, etc. Yoshi couldn't be used that much because there was too much water and if he came in contact with it, he would disappear. If he's in Super Mario Galaxy, he better not have any weaknesses...

Yoshi is beyond gangster of course he deserves a 3D game. Yoshi's Story is one of my favorite N64 games of all time, beaten only by Zelda, Starfox, and The Banjo games.

Well, I guess patience for intense trial and error, AND 8-9 total stars per world when it only shows 6 is really easy for you. The game irritated me, and just made me want to play Mario 64 again.

maybe make yoshi's iland wii, with new or old story line, baby mario loses his bib and needs to get it back, and because of the loss of the bib or w/e its called, baby mario drools A LOT = new ability to waterdown enemies with drool as well as other new abilities and characters (all on a 2d plane, like pseudo 3d or something)

wii control: make yoshi jump by flicking the wiimote up etc.

If they can make a good new Yoshi game, they should. If they can't, they shouldn't. Just like every single other video game character.

I think it stands a good chance as being the next "mario" type game, simply because what else can they do?

after SMG, its too early for another SPM and too early for another mario party (thank god)

I liked some of the sonic 3D games, not the latest ones, since Heroes came out I think they all suck. But I liked them on Dreamcast, and I think my friend had one on Gamecube I really liked. The game itself was average but I loved Chaio worlds. Maybe they should do that in a Mario game, instead of having a Chaio world they have a Yoshi world, that'd be straight up awesome.

I guess you've never seen Yoshi's Safari.

For your information, Mario was the one with the gun in Yoshi's Safari. Mario was riding on Yoshi's back the whole time. Yoshi never even touch a gun in that game.

I wouldn't mind playing a 3D Yoshi game in the future. It should be on the Wii so that the game would have some interactiveness to it.

That would be good because Boshi would be the evil counterpart of Yoshi, which would be similar to Wario and Waluigi being evil counterparts of Mario and Luigi.

Although Boshi isn't evil, he should still have an evil role.

He might get corrupted by an evil force and be forced to do its bidding, which is taking over Yoshi Island.

I just want Boshi to be in another game.

I was thinking more or less that Wart should make a comeback since Birdo is getting some time in Mario Party and what not and we need to see someone other than Bowser causing destruction. Maybe have Wario and Waluigi or the Koopalings or the evil space Yoshis I mentioned before.

The space yoshies sound like a good idea.

They would be a team of 4 or 5 evil yoshies that will serve as the main bosses.

The Galactic guys sounds good, that big bird from Yoshi's Island, Kamek, Wart if you wanted, and Yoshi Space Pirates led by, Rosti the fire blasting yoshi.
