Let me put it this way. Absorbing Man could probably lose to the Lasso, but Earth X absorbing man was the closest thing to what you are looking for. And he was very very Uber. Then again, he was also a genius.

WW is depowered her, but I think she still takes this.

Frankly I dont understand how Absorbing man losses his fights. He absorbs attributes on touch whether he touches his opponents or they hit him. If Diana knows what shes dealing with then she wins but if she goes in their knowing nothing about creel, she will go on the attack and play in his hands.

Can't he turn into light or something?

Actually, all he has to do is be close to something to absorb the properties of it(one of the many things he's "forgotten" about over the years)...
