I say Ayane takes this easily, her ninja skills, even for a young girl is one to not mess with.

I want to say Ayane as well...but many people claim she'd lose badly to Sub-zero...which I think is absolute bull. I think Scorpion's on par with Genra and Ayane defeated Genra in DOA3.

It is really hard to put Scorpion down with ease.

I already feel it happening. Anyway, I don't want to feel like I'm underating Scorpion, so, can anyone tell me any of his most notable feats?

That is true, but I don't know enough about Ayane to make an accurate assumption. The only thing I can think of is that Scorpion just drags her down to hell, then overwhelms her with his army of Zombies.

I would say her Nimpo has shown more capacity for destruction.

As for the actual fight...Ayane does have skills to fight Scorpion H2H for a while. In fact I think she has him beat in H2H skills.

Scorpion is undead. He could pretty much fight for eternity and not get exhausted. If Ayane wants to take victory, and a non-burnt body home she better end it fast.

As for the Nimpo blast...it would most certainly do the job of blasting Scorpz to smithereens. However it takes her a short time to pull it off. Yes...it's not that long...but Scorpion can easily stop her in her tracks with his spear.

Scorpion's fire attacks are stronger and, I think, more versatile. However Ayane's nimpo is more destructive. And Scorpion can teleport, so I don't see how her building destroying powers can help her all that much, as they're not instantaneous.

I hate it when people overrate the time it takes for Ayane to unleash her ninpo.

You can't take slow-motion sequences and calculate them as if they were in real-time.

The video was only in slow motion at the before she performed her ninpo and right when she's about to use. All that conjuring was in real time.

I am not over rating the time it takes to summon the tri-tower busting nimpo. What I have stated is that while Ayane attempts this Scorpion can spear her ass.

Wouldn't that make her ninpo stronger?

hence "More destructive". Stronger does not mean better, however.

I didn't say it meant "better". I was just pointing out that you said Scorpion's was stronger, but Ayane's is more destructive when that should mean that Ayane's is stronger.

If you want to argue that Scorpion's is better, be my guest.

I meant overall.. I actually don't think that helps clear up what I said at all, so I'll just explain my reasoning.

As far as I know, Ayane's most powerful Nimpo attack has to be charged up for a large amount of time (Long for two fighters of this caliber, anyway.), so her using a smaller, more instantaneous, AKA combat convenient form would be drastically weaker.

Many of Scorpion's hellfire attacks are near instantaneous, and can come from anyware, some of his attacks he just launches like a fireball, others he can make come up from the ground directly below were they are standing. And all of them are powerful enough to completely incinerate a foe, as seen in his fatalities and from the games.

To sum up my point, I think that if you were to compare a fully charged Nimpo attack to Scorpion's strongest Hellfire attack, the Nimpo may be stronger, but comparing the attacks that will realistically be used n this battle, Scorpion's hellfire is more powerful, and definently more versatile, as he can make it attack his opponent from nearly any angle.

Fair enough.

Yeah, as I said before, I dunno much about DoA or Tekken or even Street Fighter, so I can only go off of what I see and hear on this forum.
