Validus wouldn't spare Broly after his first victory, so Broly wouldn't have a chance to become stronger than Validus.

Broly would never be stornger then any PC character are you serious, PC Validus is consider the strongest being during that time, punking characters that where 3-4x stronger than PC Superman. It's true that a sayian-jin womes back from the brink of death will be stronger but not class 100 juggernaut, PC Validus killed a daxamite which are a race of superman's with his mental bolt.
