Current KK

vs

Current Ironman

Who takes it?

JasonK4
Current Ironman takes this.

nvrbeenwthagirl
Iron man 7/10. he'll think KK is just a kid and go in for a quick punch and lose the first three rounds before he realizes who and what KK is and then he'll just shoot him from the sky. Tho KK can dodge lightning. I still think Iron man will get some luck shots in sooner or later and put kk down.

DigiMark007
With a flight ring?

That makes a big difference in my mind. With it, Iron Man's ranged and spread-fire stuff is less potent. Without it, Val's screwed.

OMG ur right. He does have a flight ring. I was thinking of him in countdown. They don't really show him flying. Or maybe they do and i'm just being forgetful as always. Ok Iron man gets 5.1/10 then.

Yeah, Countdown's teh ghey....don't take anything it says seriously. Apparently that dude Val fought wasn't even Equus (sic?). They got the flippin' name wrong...though you'd have to check with more hardcore DC-ites than me for confirmation. Anywa, FC better retcon the whole damn mess and make Geoff Johns lord of the multiverse.

Avlon
Tony can program the armor to anticipate KK's style.

of course it's all gonna be retconned. That is what the final crisis is about. I dont' know what trick DC has up thier sleeves, But something Big seems to be happening. I don't like the fact that they put the Wildstorm universe as simply one Universe. i thought it was it's own multiverse.

But does he really need to go to such extreme measures?

he can program it to anticipiate Cap moves but KK is much better. Furthermore Tony complied the info first and the put into his armour he didnt do it during battle.

but i don't think he can do that DURING battle anyhow.

Batman can hold his own against KK pretty well, and he doesn't have super speed reactions or durability.

I dunno man KK had just come out of a coma. KK has shown to have feats that dwarf Batman after the fight ( I think), so we could assume that the coma affected his abiltiy.

Couldn't Tony just Sonic Attack KK for the win

I have a feeling KK could resist it and keep on fighting. I think KK has shown that his abilities can enable him to resist mind control....I think this would help in this situation.

grey fox
Without flight ring - Stark 9/10 , he just stays in the air out of his jump range and bombards him with repulsor blasts, pulse bolts and Uni-beams until KK is a smear on the ground.

With Flight ring - Stark 3/10 , he makes multiple holographic duplicates and raises his force-field before setting his Unibeam on wide-beam and blowing KK out of the sky.

Newjak
Couldn't Extremis Ironman just control the Flight Ring?

Extremis can't control Low-tech , and All the flight ring is (at least from my knowledge) is a ring made of a specific element.

He gets the flight ring anyway.

Im not entirely sure but I think he can detect **** like that but im not certain. Its like MAs seem to have enhanced sense and I supsect somebody like KK would as well. I wouldnt even eb suprised if he could dodge the widebeam..how wide is it?

dfsjkldsflkdsfk
Val has a flight ring. Val 10/10

Alfheim
Maybe the Extremis suit isnt much better than this version and it could be argued that somebody much better than Temugin would still kick his butt. Anyway I think KK would regardless, the scans are just food for thought.

If you're referring to the Monitors' discussion of it, I think it's still a multiverse. It's 1 of the 52, but it "branches off into it's own area" or something like that (I forget how they worded it). Wildstorm has its own mulitiverse, but collectively they lumped it into "1" of the 52 for convenience's sake. The Bleed connects it with the other 51 and branches into various different universes. Hell, there are story arcs in every facet of WS that have a multiverse. Authority, Stormwatch, Planetary, The Monarchy, etc. They'd be retconning way too much to make it 1 universe.

Possible , the whole "my enemy has no heart-beat" BS. However can KK tell the difference while being assaulted with sonics, repulsor blasts, pulse bolts and while I'm is behind a forcefield ?

The wide-beam is (probably) around 2-5 metes.

Well first of all I dont think he would do it at the same time. Well what I mean is that he woudl project the holograms and then continue to blast. I dont think the sonic would work because KK has shown resistance to mind control and the sonics attack the mind. Basically im not sure but like I said since IM will probably project the holograms first that might give KK some time to detect the real IM.

Agreed. Studying Steve, knowing him for years, watching him, taping him, THEN programming his armor to anticipate him?

Sure.

Doing it on the fly? Nah.

Alfheim
Anyway while suffering from a Virus KK beat Equus somebody who gave Superman trouble. KK 10/10

DC would have to retcon damn near every major WS story, to downgrade that multiverse to a single universe... I just don't see that happening.

But I do wonder if this makes the "Ambrose Chase/Superman fight", canonical? confused

Like you said, it would take years for Tony to study KK to such a degree that he knew every fighting style KK used in battle.

Not really , just state it's a self contained universe surrounded by parallel dimensions which have forcibly quasi-merged with it

KK wins. His flight ring has a forcefield built in remember?? The legionnaires used it and it was impenetrable by the JLAers. Iron-Man can't do anything. He can't get past it...cause its made with future tech by mind that far outstrips his.

Nah , it's like a multiverse thats ATTEMPTING to become a multiverse , but cannot separate from it's main-verse. Thus it leeches off of the others , causing 'bleeds'.

Just like his father, Temugin can preform some hardcore chi-amping. And Temugin can get to such a degree that even Iron Man would have a hard time just keeping up with him. Though in this fight Temugin had the advantage of knowing a critical weak spot in Tony's armor.

In the second fight however Iron Man gave Temugin a much better fight even though Tony had multiple gunshot wounds and broken bones AND Temugin was using Mandrian's ten power rings.

Also both fights were way before Extremis, Temugin would never be able to outfight Tony like he did if he was powerup'd by Extremis.

Actually Tony's exact words when he was outfighting Captain America during the civil war event was thus:

"Your wasting your time Steve... This armor has recorded every punch you've ever thrown. It knows you next move before you do..."

By what Tony is saying here, the A.I. of the armor itself can learn and adapt all without Tony really doing a thing. The real question is how long would it take before the armor begins to read KK's moves before KK himself even thinks about doing the move?

Blair Wind
Too long. KK knows every single MA in the 30th century.

Also, the armor does adapt from the point starting the fight to later:

No, the armor has recorded every punch he had ever thrown. As in, since Cap's been fighting with Iron Man.

Since Iron Man's never even seen Karate Kid fight, he wouldn't have the same opportunity.

Karate Kid wins here, and often.
