Well he easily got his ass handed to Black Heart when they 1st fought he even knocked him back to Cage mode.
I bet Optimus can do as much damage as him.
Also there is not much that GR can do to Optimus.

Oh you are right I forgot about the heat sinsitivity.
Though I would still give the majority to Optimus.
