doom and luthor have teamed up to try and recreate the marvel and dc Us into a single universe of their own design where they will co- rule (little does doom know lex is only playing him and plans to wipe out the marvel u and take over dc) (little does lex know that doom is aware of his plans and is using lex so he can wipe out dc and take over marvel) (little does doom know...you get the idea)

lex and doom have combined their prep for over a year for this moment

Ummmm...Lex and Doom are so busy plotting and counter-plotting against each other that the plan falls apart, and the heroes get to point and laugh at the villains...

Heroes would win.
Doom and Luthor would be winning but they would make the mistake that all villains teaming up make-Betraying each other at the last possible moment just before the heroes are decimated
