I would have to say the best Pokemon series was the Gold/Silver/Crystal series set in the Johto region that come out for GBC. What would you say if Nintendo remade the games for Nintendo DS but with D/P graphics, new alterations, added features, different storyline, compatibility with D/P wirelessly, Wifi connection, new items and a new region to explore similar to the sevii Islands that were for FireRed and LeafGreen. If I was a Nintendo programmer or art illustrator I would design Pokemon SunGold and MoonSilver for Nintendo DS. Sorry Alana but your very classy and sweet. I'm 23 your 21 correct? In regards to the actual topic, Gold and Silver were so far my favorite, besides Blue and Red, obviously.

Yes I would very much like this.

Silver/Gold are definitely the best Pokemon games made.
However if they make it I just hope they will lessen a bit on all the gadgets etc they have implemented in the newer ones, I would rather see more of a port then a remake.

Red/Blue/Yellow FTW. That's where my Pokemon gaming fizzled out. I can go back to those, but the newer games just... aren't the same.

People meet more online then in person, but I know the world is a scary place. I want to get to know her better. My favorites are and always will be Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow. (I played all of them more than once by the way)

I was the most excited for them and by them, not to mention I was at my youngest when playing these ones.

So yeah. These ones hold the most nostalgic purposes for me.

Overall, I'd go for Fire Red. Same as good ol' Red, same pokemon that were actually interesting, but with the graphical updates and game fixes of the later series. Woohoo!

I do remember enjoying Silver, though. Just not as much as Red.

I actually prefer different pokemons types form each game. In Red/Blue I prefer Squirtle, in Gold/Silver I prefer Cyndaquil. Don't remember what I chose in Ruby/Sapphire.

Pokemon Red: I chose Bulbasaur

i never got into pokemon until Pearl came out (yes i'm a newb) i chose chimchar for pearl and then i went and bought Emerald in which i chose Torchic. then i got Rayquaza =D and i've had Palkia for a while does anyone know when there coming out with the diamond and pearl movie for pokemon?

I was actually rather disappointed with YELLOW and put off.

Me being young and naive thought that it would be completely different from RED and BLUE.

Because whenever he tries Pikachu resists it. Have you watched the show? It happened in like, the first episode.

I evolved Pikachu in Yellow ermm

In Blue I always used Bulbasaur as my starter, and I used Piplup (also known as Pengie in my game) in Pearl.

Plant-turtle and penguin for the win!
