In all fairness...even outside of standard jobbing...they usually end up fighting characters with far more diverse powersets.

Mongul wins this.

I'd say that a non jobbing Champion takes this with no sweat. This guy has far more experience than Mongul, he's been fighting since the beggining of time in the Marvel universe. I took a look at his stats, and it says that aside from his obvious expertise in fighting, his strength is incalculable. The Champion possesses the power Primordial.

This is his stats, which i think are far greater than Monguls. he also weighs 5,050 lbs.
Strength Level: The limits of the Champion's strength are not known. In Earth's gravity, he can lift (press) at least 100 tons. His strength derives from the channeling of cosmic energy for physical use.

Known Superhuman Powers: The Champion controls the power primordial, the energy derived from the Big Bang itself. He has channeled this power into the development of his physical form: his musculature, his reflexes, his stamina, and his strength, while the exercise of human strength taps electro-chemical energies of the complex molecules in the body, the Champion's strength taps cosmic nuclear energies. His physical strength is only determined by the amount of cosmic energy his finite form can contain. This limit has yet to be seen. He apparently never tires since his body has the ability to tap whatever energies it needs to recuperate. He cannot be hurt by any means short of molecular dispersion. Having channeled all of the cosmic energy as his command into making his body a perfect fighting machine, the Champion can no longer direct that energy from his body into force-blast as many other energy manipulators can.

Abilities: The Champion has mastered untold thousands of different martial arts and fighting styles culled from across the known Universe, and spends the majority of his time between championship matches practicing these arts.

Limitation: The Champion's limitations are not known.

Who cares what Mongul this Mongul is, the Champion if not on the job should kill him. For a brick he should be able to move better than the best martial artist that DC or Marvel has to offer. For example; Gladiator is super fast, and can throw speed blitz type punches, yet he couldn't lay a finger on the Champion. We all know that he jobbed when he fought She Hulk, because right after she fought him, she was back to her old self. Anyone remember what Titanus did to her arm? According to the Champions stats he should have mowed her down just like he did to Gladiator and Beta Ray Bill. Both of these guys can rock moon sized planets. Bill showed feats of this magnitude in the Stormbreaker mini series. The Champion dealt with them both like they were moving in quick sand.
Come on now this is a guy who knows thousands of martial arts, he should be able to parry anything that Mongul throws at him. Let logic dictate not favoritism.

in a comic i can see Mongul winning... but i say champion takes it here. sorry mongul.

Hell, I'd give Mongul jr. a decent split. Mongul sr. wrecks him.

The Thing was on his death bed when he fought the Champion. The only reason that he won was because the Champion felt mercy for him. She Hulks win was PIS.
