Knuckles wins ftw, Knuckles has the highest physical strength of any Sonic character, and he's 1/2 as fast as Sonic. Wario won't win he needs to rely on his farts and Knux is too fast to get hit by them.

Wario would win, have any of you played Wario World? Wario is stronger than Knuckles by far, I know that Knuckles is faster than Wario by far as well but if you played Wario Land 2 you would know that Wario got sliced in half and he went back to normal in 2 secs hence he's immortal and Wario can counter plus Sega themselves know Wario is stronger just compare his strength with Knux.
