They fight in Victoria British Columbia. No prep.

Since people like to make scenarios, I got one. smile
Alpha Flight gets a call in hearing that someone is destroying innocents. And since they are somewhat decent superheroes they take the job. They arrive to find Thanos there.
*End scene*

Somehow The Authority arrives in Canada, and right after they do, they hear a loud *bang*. They then go to investigate, and find a bunch of heroes completely destroyed, and Thanos has blood all over him and it's just all around a bloody mess. The Authority recognizes a hero looking character with a full body suit, and a maple leaf at the side of his costume decapitated with the body in Thanos's hands.

The Authority then attack (Victoria survives, so there is a city).
To be continued...

Next comic:
They fight.

Who wins?

Scientific matter manipulation, sure.

Magical matter manipulation isn't the same thing.

Magical matter manipulation isn't the same thing. Isn't the Nexus sort of magical... I mean, In-Betweener, and such...

Also, what's the difference if he resists matter manip, or magical matter manip? He's still turning into it... and he was turned into things while he was at the Nexus; he just willed back into Thanos. smile

Doesn't matter.

If he tries to will himself back, the Doctor will will him into a willfully shitty steaming pile of will shit will smith, he will.

Well, if Thanos gets the jump on the Doc, he can take him out. The current Doc is inexperienced afterall. the rest of the Authority are all but useless in this fight. At least imo
