as for beating Darkseid i guess it all depends if a low skyfather's power is greater than that of a god-slayer who's killed pantheons and has the Destroyer Armor to boot. then again DS power would have to be several times Desak's because Thor owned him most heinously

Because War World was pushing against Superman with thousands of galaxies of power. Thus Superman not only pushed a mere planet, but he pushed against thousands of galaxies of power and won.

Lastly, it doesn't matter whether Supe's feat is greater. This is because no feat can compare to uber speed-not even a feat of destroying the entire universe. So Thor with any amount of offensive power, in theory, wouldn't get a chance to even think if Superman came at him with the gusto. And one combo until Ko is all it takes. Speed is king of all feats.

Hmm. Creating Planets and 6 billion souls, while depowered. With standing the blast of highfather's staff. Creating Alter realities. Providing at least a 5th of the power required to help push back the ALE and collapse a reality/dimension. Odin has destroyed DEAD galaxies with the help of WHOM he was fighting.

He killed an entire group of Old Gods at one time. The most powerful among them withstood his first attack, and he had to blast them again. He didn't beat Thousands of Gods at one time to my knowlege, but he did beat a Group of Old gods.
