Bouboumaster
Team 1, because of The God of Thundaaaa!

Inhuman
Blade solos

JackieCD
Team 1. Venom would beat them all.

Symmetric Chaos
Once WW and Kyle take down Thor the battle is completely over . . .

Bentley
So... Thor against GL and Wonderwoman right?

Soljer
Kyle can take Thor.

Wonder Woman can take Sue.

Gambit, Venom and Blade are insignificant.

Bentley
Nah, Kyle can't take on current Thor. Only if Ion is involved.

Deathstroke
Deathstroke takes out both teams combined.

Kyle Vs Thor is a toss up. The thing with this match up is the JLA has two top tiers, either of which can mop up everyone but Thor rather quickly.

Regardless of whether Kyle or Diana initially match up with Thor, it's going to be 2 v 1 pretty soon.

Bentley
Yeah, that I know. I assume that Thor has no skyfather level powers, in normal circumstances he would have a hard time against WW or Kyle. I just don't think Kyle beats current Thor by himself.

Because current Thor was shot at and used the power of Gaea to put a big crack in the ground?

erm.

You forgot he made Asgard float.

But yeah, ummm, I got nothing.

Is that even quantifiable?

Also, Thor, Invisible Woman, and Gambit win, as they are the only people who can move in this fight.

Bentley
One would think it takes lots of magic to create Asgard. I don't think classic Thor had as much.

So that would be a no?

One would think it would take a lot of magic to drive away Galactus, contain a universe-threatening blast, or seal off dimensions.

I haven't seen anything from current Thor to make me think he has as much.

I haven't seen anything from current Thor to make me think he has as much. One would also think it would take a lot of magic, and liquor to pork Moondragon.

Current Thor isn't up to snuff. smile

You are right, its obvious that after controlling the Odinforce and surpassing Odin current Thor suddenly drops to a level much lower than he ever was, because you know, he took a nap; that of course without any reference to being weaker or whatsoever.

Yeah, I see how you built the perfect counter argument against my observation. Kudos.

Gambit is never insignificant cool

Are you related to Alan Moore?

You really seem to know your comics.

Silly me, what was I thinking?

OF COURSE we should just go on random speculation instead of the feats on the page.

He beat Iron Man, took a few bullets, put a crack in the ground, and did some nifty magic.

Oh, yes, he must certainly still be at 'Rune King Thor' levels.

No, but what you say supposed he was weaker. Are we supposed to think a character has become weaker because nothing has passed? Maybe from one comic to another we are supposed to think Superman cannot fly because its not stated on panel that he did not lose his ability to do so in between comics.

I mean, sure, we can assume each time a character doesn't do something he cannot, best debate strategy ever.

Now I do get your point, but seriously, defending a weak part of your argument just to save face is not the best way to discuss. Accept you picked a weak idea and move on already.
