What is the coolest move you've ever seen in a videogame? Be it a martial arts move, a magic attack, or a sword attack, or something else.

If you've ever play DOA (Dead or Alive) you'll know about Hayabusa's special. I forgot what its called, but he flings the enemy up into the air, and then spins the enemy down head first.

Well i've seen cool, but I'm gonna have to go with HUNK's Neckbreaker. I pissed myself laughing when I saw that.

That really insane level 3 super combo that Shin Akuma pulls in MvC, I really like the animation and the finish. Starts off like Ken's Kyaku superart, a few uppercuts, pulls up into a lightning charged Tatsumaki Senpuu-Kyaku, then does his super-stomp thing. I can't seem to find a video.

SF3: Ryu's Reppu Jinrai Shou.


Scorpion's "Get over here!"

there were some cool moves in the path of neo

My favourite are the quick deaths in Riddick:Escape From Butchers Bay.

Either the time you grab the guy's weapon and slowly force him to shoot himself, or my personal fav, the time when you fight in the ring with guys and you end up taking the guys shiv and shoving it right down his throat. Pure crazy.

Even though they kinda suck, the naruto games have some awesome specials, like kimimaro's bone forest, or naruto's Razengan

Orchid's finishing move.

One word: FATALITY!

Various Ultra Combos from the Killer Instinct games.

The chainsaw Bayonet.

Sub-Zero's famous spine-rip fatality.

One of the killing blows the possession squard from dawn of war can do when the kill another troop.

They grab the guy by the shoulds and breath fire on their head until it melts.

Also it is possibly one of if not the most recognized Video Game move in history.

i like in BO 2, the mist kill without a weapon when he puts his hand through the guys chest and takes his heat out on the way through then drops it on the other side

most of the GOW moves are cool, like when he just grabs someone and rips them in half, or smashes them into the ground and they explode

Oh God of War, does not seem like a good game, never played it though, still I don't think you should put Megaman in Mario's league.

I think you're referring to the Izuna drop. It's also in Ninja Gaiden. And yes, it's a gret move (actually, if you played Okami, there's a move like that if Ammy uses the disk thing as a sub-weapon).

And on the God of War subject, I'd like to point out that one of my favorite "moves" in that game is Army of Hades (or maybe Atlas Quake).

Ok, heres a few

God of war: Being stabbed in the eye with blades and the Hydra who got impaled.

Gears of war: Nothing beats getting your head blasted off.

Subzero: Imagine walking up to someone, turning thier body into ice, ripping thier frozen head off, walking away then turning to throw it at thier frozen body shattering thier body into millions of icy bloody peices, cool huh?

Populous: Whenever someone has pissed me off, I attack back with my Shamen, 1 volcano to thier base, 2 earthquakes, land erosion, four hurricanes, maelstroms of fireballs raining from the sky, bees and just about all magics at one single time. Total wipeout.

Sephiroth: The Earth ending move at the end is pretty cool.

Cloud: If movies count, Clouds moves in that movie along with Tifa's were amazing.

Hayabusa: He has quite a number of nifty techniques.

Thats all I can think up at the moment.

Ryu's Shin Shoryuken was always pretty overpowered.

I just like the way his voice yells it in the CvS versions.

Advent Rising is at the top for me. As far as cool moves in a full 3d action game, no preset sequences either.
