Keeper lost the first fight with Galactus before he properly learned to use the Quantum Bands. After he was taught to use them by Aaron he came back and defeated Big G.

Though it should be noted that Big G was extremely weak that second time around...

I thought he got beat the second time and one the first?
hmm, still... if it's a weak Galactus it's a difficult to guage feat.

Nah he won the second, but yeah Galactus was pretty weak too...

I've just got vague memories of Takion, got the first issue somewhere in the closet.

a newly minted Takion pretty much embarrassed GL Kyle... and had some other good feats too... but think I may have been rash in taking Takion over Keeper.
