The Story goes like this.... While searching for a world to bring under despotic rule, Annihilus detects a huge energy presence. Never before sensing an energy signature of this magnitude, he jumps at the opportunity to claim it as his own. As he get closer he realizes that it is not only an energy source, but the man known as Monarch (formerly Captain Atom). As he touches down on the planet known only as Acrollaxus 9, Monarch perceives him as a threat, and they begin an epic battle.... Who wins?

Annihilus get's one shoted.

Really? Annihilus did survive a sun splitting attack released by Galactus you know. He also has the Cosmic Control Rod coupled with the Quantum Bands.

And very hungry almost dead galactus

Monarch would beat down Annihilus.

Annihilus wasn't that much more impressive with the Qbands than he was with the Rod. Still :/

If they follow any of the rules concerning the quantum bands...if annihilus were to use the bands with any exertion...he would blow up...so the bands were really just a trophy..imo
