Frank comes to Sin City to get the one and only Marv. marv gets word from dwight that Frank's coming to get him. marv is prepared for Frank and has told him to come to some forest (sin city movie scenario

So wait you guys are saying Marv beats frank...on the basis on what, because he got his ass whooped by frodo...na i can see why Marv would be a good match for frank, but he is completly outclassed here. It comes down to experience and frank has it in spades, marv gets his ass lit up for a reason at the end, he wasn't calculating, left himself open. This rairly happens to frank. As long as Marv can get killed from bullets frank can kill him, marv isn't bulletproof and doesn't have that great of a healing factor, therefore frank wins due to his experience, and tactical brilliance.

Frank wins.... but it won't be easy.

marv is about as strong as the russian, but marvs not going to play around, and on top of that he is armed just as well

Punisher definately!! he took down Barracuda and that guy was WAYY more powerful than Marv.

(don't know who Barracuda is? be sure to look him up then)

What this fight boils down to is who quicker and more accurate at firing a weapon, and who is the better tactician. Marv hasn't proven to me that he is better than frank in any of these areas, therefore frank wins.

Frank is too quick, to accurate and to disciplined to be beaten by Marv.

then again if marv could actualy get a hand on punisher then who knows.

and this happened with Barracuda getting the drop on frank. they were going toe-to-toe for a while. and who says Frank can't be brutal when he has to be. he bit off barracuda's face at one point. not a bite. he BIT HIS WHOLE CHEEEK. and then there was the bit where he toasted his nuts with the spark plugs of a car

Marv is almost superhumanly durable.....hell it took 2 jolts from the electric chair to put him down.

You think the punisher can handle that?

These 'vs' has been done before and from what i've seen everything comes back to the punisher allways winning.

Marv is - at best - a tough brawler with some decent fighting skills.

That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

And some people claim Punisher - who fights CA, Spider-Man, DD - can not handle somebody like Marv ? Wow, that's just... weird.

Now if it was just a fistfight, just mano a mano, Marv could give Punisher a surprise of two, no problem there. That doesn't mean however he'll just mop the floor with Punisher lol.

You think the punisher can handle that? So ur telling me he kept fighting when he got shot right...How bout when he was killing the priest and got lit up by swat, did he come back after that. Sure he can survive it, but there is no way in hell he is going to be still coming at frank after he pumps him full of lead. Hell Baracuda took around the same amount of punishment as marv did, he got shot through the chest and neck got blown up and he still was able to fight like nothing was wrong. Not saying marv isn't tough as hell, just frank isn't going to stop to check if Marv is still alive, he is going to pump him so full of bullets they wont' be able to identify the body, just to make absolutly sure.

A straight up knife fight would be more balanced. Marv was eventually taken out by like 2 Swat guys.

true and so has frank. in fact, frank's been through explosions, being trapped in debris of a multi stories buildings and fought the next day.

and the bullet grazed marv on the head. it wasn't IN THE HEAD.


never denied that, mang. here's food for thought though: barracuda had his nuts toasted with the startplug of a car for 45 minutes and still got up to fight frank.
guess who won that fight, even though barracuda got the drop on frank and attacked him from behind? Frank did.

more food for thought, here is one of the countless durability feats for frank:
another time in a straight up brawl, frank bit off the right side of his face too and was about to kill him too, until barracuda stabbed him in the lungs, and smacked him out of a building with a chair. frank was in the ICU for a few hours with a broken arm, broken nuckles, had his lungs filled with blood, his whole face was bruised, had internal bleedings cuz of the blunt trauma of falling off a building and on to a patrolling plice car........................and he got out of the hospital and fought barracuda in the above mentioned fight to the death.

and then there is the Russian. he's also fought Logan who is THE MAN when it comes to durablity in a straight up brawl, and despite losing, didn't actually do too bad. in fact, he had logan down for some time more than once in the fight.
