science vs superman---

this list of scientists get into a bunker and get $20 billion from luthor to end superman(they can't fight him themselves). luthor warned them that if they didn't destroy superman, he would destroy earth.

-the leader -radiology, biochemistry, robotics
-the mad thinker -robotics
-the tinkerer -robotics, biology, chemistry
-nathanial essex (mr. sinister) -biochemistry, evolution, surgery
-hank pym -particle theory, chemistry,robotics

build team

-the machinesmith -robotics, programmer
-the fixer -circuitry, robotics
-forge -intuitive builder, problem solver
-madison jeffries -technoformer
-Takashi Matsuya (wiz kid) -technoformer
-bolivar trask -robotics, programmer

can these mental giants kill superman permanently?

They kill Luthor because it's much easier and get a harsh talking to from Superman.

However if they decided to pool their resources productively the team probably could come up with enough power to "end" Supes.

Maybe they could build a close duplicate of Amazo or something like that. Or a thingy that can get really big and shoot krypton-radiation and is real strong and all that jazz.

then they just create a massive large array of radio transmitters to churn out an energy wave with a signature of K... preventing Superman from coming near the Earth ... then they make it portable and create loads that they plant all around the solar system... Superman gets weak the further away from the Sun he gets...

anyone vaguely familiar with Superman's weaknesses and given access to comic-book science could come up with something to totally eradicate Kryptonians with some prep.

if all else fails, just make a portal into Marvel's Exiles dimension and bring that Surfer over to kick Superman's arse

Considering there is someone like Leader on the team, a master in radiation using and especially gamma ones, and Luthor, who teached RM how to create Kryptonite blasts in AVENGERS/JLA, they will take it.Probably using Sinister's genious in creating powerful mutants to make an armyr of cybernetic enhanced warriors who can blast kryptonite and red sun radiation and have mid level superstrength, durability, speed and flight, they have the budget and the resources to do it.They will only need to trick Supes to reach the place were the trap is set then it's over.

Doom do it by himself. He spend 10$ to buy a rock of Kryptonite to some girl in Smallville, and keep the rest of the money.

Oh, and he kill Luthor in the process.
