Who is the most powerful Superman ripoff? All characters at their best. No low showings exist. Only consider their highest showings.
The contestants are:

Planet destroying Gladiator (full confidence)
Million exploding suns Sentry (Terrax situation)
Hyperion at his most strongest
Count Nefaria at his most strongest

If I'm leaving anyone out please mention them.

Lastly, which one is the closest to Superman in powerset (the most obvious Superman ripoff)?

Superman Prime.

Mr. majestic?

Non Superman characters like Cyborg SMP etc...

Either Gladiator, Majestic or King Hyperion.

Of everyone mentioned so far, Majestic is the only one (other than SMP) that I would consider on Superman's level.

Supreme was Supes level, right?

I think Supreme may have been above Superman, as Supreme was stated to be 4x more powerful than Gladiator or was that 2x.... whatever! Gladiator was stated as being as powerful as Superman at his best. This is where I get my logic from about Supremes power level.

Hyperion is the most obvious Superman ripoff IMO.

Majestic, Apollo, Hyprion, Count Nefaria, Sentry, Omni-man, Invincible, Gladiator, Supreme, Dynamo .

they all but supreme fall abit short.

A former business man who obtained ionic energy based superpowers becoming a mortal equal to Thor in power levels and then turned from villain to hero, also he's been an actor and key member of many Avengers roster, no way he's similar to Clark Kent/Superman.

Superman came out a few years before captian marvel. At the time superman could jump high (he could not fly) and he had super strength, not godly strength.

2 he possosed god like abilities where superman was a mere super human type on a much lower scale then cap.

3 captian marvel had a bald arch enemy before superman did.

4 captian marvel had a hero family before supes did, mary and cap junior

5 captian marvel flew before superman did.


in a nut shell Fawcett comics did get the idea of captian marvel from supes, but then again so did every power house in comics with a cape.


superman copied sivana with lex luthor

mary marvel and cap junior existed before superboy and supergirl, yet another rip-off.

superman all of a sudden developed the ability to fly.


supermans went from a powerful man to god like strength.


captian marvel was created from the idea of supes. Nothin wrong with that folks.


But coping all of another toons abilities cause your characters abilities "SUCK". Coping all their arch enemies , coping all their allies with carbon copies.

main reason superman fans dont like cap is casue hes bout on par with him and is very much like him and has the ability to beat him.

Dictionary is there for you to use it.

As for Superman: he isent the first character sporting a cape, or a skin tigh costume, or a secret identity, or an emblem. His most basic powerset doesnt scream any originality either.

Keep that in mind.

I see Mr Majestic more of a Superman ripoff because they are both extemely noble and they have the same mannerism and body language what makes them different is the way they think. Majestic is more honarable and Superman is more noble.
