Crossbones, Taskmaster and Bullseye try to take over Gotham they get:

a) All there stash from the MU and a base of operation within Gotham
b) 6 months prep (prep can involve hiring goons and bribing etc)
c) Map of gotham with basic knowledge of the area and relevant inhabitants.
d) Assume nobody trys to stop them before the 6months is up, but I highly doubt that they can stay under Batmans radar for 6 months. erm

Lord Feron
In this scenario it sounds like them with 6 mths prep vs batman on his home turf with 6 months prep. Even if its not like that...BAtman won't let this shit happen the team loses because this is like batman with prep and his home court. So yeah... Gotham ftw?

on the off chance batman is totally oblivious, they have a shot. but this isnt a straight fight with batman, its with gotham... as is there is already a strong criminal element, some who would be bought off into service but not everyone. so a gangwar, or at least a takeover happens, batman would at some point catch wind of them. and then he makes a plan and takes them down with whoever he has on hand. robin. or whoever happens to be in gotham. be a nice 5-to-6 issue crossover. but batman would win.

now if they get 6 months time and prep and ambush batman thats diff. but its Vs gotham, not vs batman. and given the over confidence of villians they would 'deal with' batman when the opportunity presented itself.. meaning when batman came for them. by which id give the advantage to batman.

Query:

Is this normal, comic book Crossbones, or Alf's super-fanboy version with Doom+ level prep?

Its not Crossbones at all its actually Superman.

I think the 3 of them could lay low for a while and cut into the other crimelord's turf well enough to carve out a nice little faction in Gothem. Assuming the are able to make alliances and gain power, they have a decent shot.
