It pains me to say this, but team actually (or should) wins here.

Protege will copy LT, Scathan is above LT, Tiamut is just loose baggage. The team stomps.

I wouldn't say Scathan is above LT, definitely some kind of equal.

Let's not forget, while Scathan was able to muzzle Protege into ineffectiveness,
it was still the LT who had the final judgement,
it was the LT who finally absorbed Protege.

Protege never battled the LT,
so we don't even know to what capability he was able to harness the LT's power,
beings that acquire uber energies,
usually have to adapt atleast somewhat to their new found power,
before executing said powers fully.
Protege had the LT's power for only a few pages before getting owned by Scathan,
that could very well be the reason (immaturity)

Imo of-course

Or instead,
Scathan was backed by TOAA (you've seen my reasons)
and therefore was truly above the LT.

We can't say for sure one way or another though,
what we do know for sure,
is that Scathan was atleast equal to the LT.

Well also you should remember that despite being "inexperienced" protege was knocking LT, Eternity, and Hawkgod around.

Eternity and Hawkgod? Yes.

LT? No. (or atleast the scenario is indecipherable)

This is the only scene where Protege attacks and LT's in the picture,
but as we can see, we can't tell if LT is just watching the events unfold,
or actually being affected by it.

It's obvious everyone else is.

King Kandy
Well he looks about as hurt as Hawkgod is... well we can tell that with his LT powers he was>Eternity and LT wasn't confronting him for some reason so it seems reasonable to say they were equal... actually since Protege's powers are cumulative he should be a bit over LT himself.

scathan was only given the power and authority to right the situation. IMO

Scathan is more or less = to the LT. He could solo.

That's not what I see K,
I see Hawkgod screaming and elevated as if he's toiling in Protege's storm,
the LT on the other hand, is just standing there erect.

I agree.

I don't dispute Protege copied the LT's power, because he definitely did,
my contention is, that Protege was not fully attuned to the LT's power,
because of his limited time harnessing it.

So I agree, technically speaking Protege had the LT's power,
but due to his infancy with said power,
he wasn't as effective as the LT himself would be with his own power.

Or again,
Scathan was backed by the TOAA and it really doesn't matter what the angle was.

I agree, he may indeed have had more power than the LT after absorbing LT's power,
his only limitation imo, was his inexperience with said power.

I also have another opinion though,
Protege was indeed atleast as powerful as the LT
(fully harnessing his power)
and Scathan (TOAA's agent) was above even that because of said reason.

Honestly, I still don't know for sure what exactly it is.

One last opinion, although this is my least favorite,
it's simply uber PIS on Gallagher's (writer) part.
This is my least favorite cause the event is canon.
Although canon pis has been perpetrated before, but it's canon nontheless.

Yes I know, I have no absolute proof he was backed,
but otherwise, the feat makes no sense,
unless of course,
Protege's inexperience with LT's power left him slightly vulnerable to a being = to LT.
