Fated Xtasy
What would have happened if Meetra had sensed/foreseen Scourge's betrayal and knowing this she engaged him in combat?
Both of them are in their The Old Republic: Revan incarnations.
Morals are off. Meetra is pissed, scourge is ready.
Round 1. Sabers Only.
Round 2. Normal Fight.
Location: Same area where they confronted Nyriss.
Which one of these two powerful force users will be the victor?
Emperordmb
Interesting.
I'm too tired atm, I'll check this thread out again tomorrow morning.

Meetra in 1 I dunno about 2
FreshestSlice
1. Scourge
2. Surik.

Probably.
SWTOR Scourge would take it in both rounds though.
AncientPower
Meetra on Kaas loses to nearly any Sith of worth, the Exile however has a far better chance.
FreshestSlice
Scourge is supposed to be Light Sided during the novel, iirc.
NewGuy01
Really? If that's the case, I'd definitely side Meetra.

No, he is dark side the entire time, he just knows the Jedi are the only ones willing to stop Vitiate.
FreshestSlice
I thought Revan had used his Revan-ness to slowly teach him the Light Side of the Force, Scourge wanted to know both to truly understand the Force. He also talks about caring for the Exile and Revan and wanting to keep their "dream" alive, as opposed to his goals. Just seemed pretty Light-Sidey to me. He's definitely not full on Dark.
AncientPower
He was amazed by Revan's power but he stayed loyal to the Dark Side and the Empire, his only concern was the Emperor's death.
FreshestSlice
Care to explain your reasoning?
AncientPower
His entire dialogue.
FreshestSlice
I meant give an example.

Nephthys
He's a Sith. In TOR he approves of darkside actions, violence, arrogance, douchiness and flat out says he's still a Sith and tries to turn the HoT to the darkside. He's just more lightsided than most Sith.
FreshestSlice
This is novel Scourge, which is why I asked for examples. I know Scourge in the game is a Sith ideology wise; I simply haven't read the novel in a while.
Emperordmb
Scourge is a Dark Sider, plain and simple. He just happens to have the same goals as the Jedi, ie. not getting sucked up by Vitiate.

There are several parts in the novel where the author clarifies that he still worships the dark side.
FreshestSlice
I don't doubt it as a lot of people seem to think that way. I would just like to actually see just one of these several references.
ares834
Why is there any reason too believe otherwise?
FreshestSlice
The argument seems to be that Surik can't fight on nexus against a powerful Dark Sider. Regardless, Scourge just seemed more Lightish to me. Maybe not Light Sided perse, but far from very Dark in the novel. I'm curious, tbh.
Nephthys
Meetra really should beat Scourge quite simply.

Well he fed of others dark emotions which is a technique restricted to dark siders unless you know Vaapad.
He also, of course, betrayed Revan and the Exile something I think no real lightsider would actually do.
FreshestSlice
That's true. Sith do tend to be more about making their visions reality than any Jedi does, besides Yoda.
DarthAnt66
Great topic, Fated. I'm undecided.
Skybreaker
I'm going with Surik here. Scourge at this point has no real feats to mention (he's hardly even high-up in the empire's hierarchy), but the Exile has fought against some rather upper tier sith lords.
Of course, Scourge is still fighting with the advantage of a DS force nexus. Take that away, and Surik likely wins comfortably.
