Can Nihilus sever their connections to the force?

Actually, no, Mace could well solo. Nihilus' poor track record with Drain, Mace's Vaapad being able to reflect the powers of a greater Force wielder than Nihilus in Palpatine, and the recent revelations regarding Nihilus' TK honestly make me inclined to favour the Korun over the Lord of Hunger. It helps that Mace can be scaled to being well above Traya in power as well.

Any one of them solos, so..

Nihilus drains them

And no, Vaapad won't do jack against Nihilus' drain.

1. That Nihilus didn't use telekinesis to hold the Ravager together.

2. That's perfectly debatable.

It does "lead through the penumbra of the dark side"...

Take that as you will (I doubt it'll help do anything to resist Drain, myself).

Also, I find it hilarious that now everyone cares about what Avellone has to say.

But he did pull it the Ravager out of the mass shadows on Malachor, and that is still perhaps the best TK feat in the mythos.

Uhh, no, we've cared about what he said when it came to clarifications for a long time. What we didn't care about was arbitrary judgements on character versus.
