Didnt you get the memo? Spider-man is only peak human in speed and has never danced between automatic gun fire. Also Wolverine and Sabretooth can both shoot lasers from their eyes, lift 40+ tons, and can cut through reality with their claws.

Yeah, on paper Scorpion should win. Crazy durability (bulletproof even to high caliber projectiles), good combat speed, good strength (at least Spider-Man level), and ranged attacks via his tail blaster.

Have they ever faced off in a comic? Would be a fun fight.

With his superhuman physique, the suit should be just a bonus, the icing on the cake... not the "omg it's almost Sentry-level and I still got my ass kicked smh" bs.

With good scriptwriters, anything is possible. Could be salvaged.

But mistakes already were made. Such as picking big bad gangsta Maximus instead of private eye Mac, whose connection with JJJ is arguably the best part of the character.
