planetary. she's round class 50 with superspeed and cage-like durability and invulnerability. if you've not checked out planetary, you should. it really is fantasti.

(hope leonidas doesn't mind me butting in) The first 4 or 5 issues are collected in a volume which introduces the 3 main characters and their powers, and the aim of Planetary without getting into too much detail about all their history and things like that. Pretty good reading.

i think the series only went 23 issues or so so the first would be best. the whole thing is kind of a series of revelations. missing early ones would hurt your overall enjoyment. think of the series as x-files with superheroes and a lot cooler plots/ideas.

if you do try them make sure to let me know what you think. like i said, i've really been enjoying them.
