Sandman is pretty tough. He could hurt guys like Wonder Man and Atlas physically. He battled a class 100 Wonder Man in a radioactive room. Wonder Man said getting hit by Sandman felt like getting hit with a sledge hammer. Unless there's a huge water main that Colossus can break somewhere, or access to some other types of weapons, Sandman will take it more times than not. If it's a slugfest, Sandman can't be hurt physically by Colossus

Colossus isn't known to fight with his surroundings though thats the main advantage that Sandman has here as he is usually defeated with the environment that is being fought in.

Sandman wins he just sits there as mushy sand and waits till Collosus gets bored and walks off.

Stalemate. neither can be really hurt by another, unless sandman finds a huge magnet, or colossus finds a huge dam.

Colossus has used the environment to stop someone like Sandman before. In this case, Dust of the Hellions.
