Link discovers an evil power called Soul Edge and must journey to it and destroy it but Ganon doesn't want that. He wants Soul Edge so he can be more powerful and conquer Hyrule.
Link makes it to the tower that's containing the sword but before he can enter, Ganon prevents him and the two do a fight to the death.
Who ever wins shall face Nightmare and obtain Soul Edge (if Nightmare's defeated).
