Even going by Apoc's showings that don't demonstrate most of his powers, you said Classic level. That's before his body was destroyed on the moon. Iron Man doesn't have a chance against depowered Apoc, let alone Apocalypse at his full power.

And before someone says Extremis, Celestial tech>earth tech. And you have to prove that Apoc can't take over Tony's tech.
